Tinubu’s Background Claim At Chatham House Contradicts Sworn Affidavit To INEC by Gossipninja: 11:04am On Dec 06, 2022
The APC presidential candidate told the audience that Deloitte, which he joined in 1983, taught him accounting, and not Arthur Andersen.

All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu claims that one of the Big Four accounting firms in the world, Deloitte, trained him to be an accountant, a statement that is inconsistent with the information contained in his sworn affidavit submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) earlier in the year.

Mr Tinubu in his affidavit to the electoral commission, said he became a certified accountant in 1979 and worked at Arthur Andersen firm for years before joining Deloitte in 1983.

However, judging by his speech at the Chatham House in London Monday afternoon, Mr Tinubu boasted that Deloitte, which he joined in 1983, was the firm that taught him accounting and that the private sector was where he attained the peak of his career.

Deloitte trained me as an accountant. Mobil has attested to my record. I got to the pinnacle of my career in the private sector,” the former Lagos governor boastfully said. “Who among them can brag about that?”

Meanwhile, the work experience records submitted to INEC and seen by Peoples Gazette, showed that Mr Tinubu obtained his certification in public accounting in 1979, worked in Arthur Andersen accounting firm for some years before proceeding to Deloitte Haskins and Sells in 1983.

In 1986, the former Lagos governor moved to Mobil Oil Corporation where he worked in the General Audit department before getting an upgrade to the position of a treasurer in the same firm between 1988 and 1992, Mr Tinubu’s sworn affidavit showed.

Bayo Onanuga, Mr Tinubu’s campaign aide did not immediately reply to messages seeking clarification on his principal’s contradictory statements.

This is how fraudulent people behave. They lie so shamelessly that they don't know when they have to tell so many incongruent lies in order to cover just a lie.

Tinubu and his team are pathological liars and incorrigible fraudulent clowns that never live in the light of truth but in the shadows of lies.

This is why the lied shamelessly about his academic qualifications, hired fake bishops and stole Donald Duke young imagine to disguise @ his own with no remorse.

They always live a fake and sanctimonious life hence are very deceitful charlatans and hardened criminals who should never be allowed in our national life again.

"Mr Onanuga did not clarify whether or not Mr Tinubu could be held responsible by the law since he was the candidate whose signature appeared on the falsified document filed under oath.

Mr Onanuga said Nigerians should disregard perjury charges against Mr Tinubu because he has not held any political office since he concluded his two terms in 2007, until earlier this month when he clinched the presidential nomination of the ruling party...."

Kindly tell the youths any meaningful thing Tinubu has said.
How many times has he spoken to Nigerians?
Instead of trying to defend a global embarrassment, spend your time to advice him to respect Nigerians.

What policy exactly?

The one he asked El-Rufai to answer on Security?

Same El-Rufai that cried to FG to come to his aide or which other policy?

Or is it the one that he has refused to discuss in the open by himself?

Una no dey disappoint Sha.

Only the truth is consistent!

Those still supporting Tinubu has already made up their minds to continue to support him regardless of how many times he gaffes or mess up!
They are not doing it for love or loyalty but for their selfish reasons!

Why is Asiwaju so inconsistent and always lying?
Is that how he plans to Rule Nigeria?

At this juncture, I will gladly tell you that Peter Obi is the next president of Nigeria.

Quote me next year.

The problem is not Tinubu

The problem is those that cheer him and clap for him when he makes those unforgivable gaffes

Presenter: what is your plan for economic growth and stabilizing the Nigerian economy?

Tinubu: The economy is brought up when you economize the sources of buying and selling, then the UN will give us money

Go to court. There is no court on the social media.

This is a rehash of the unproductive idle gists you guys indulged in the two times you and those you supported against PMB were roundly defeated by PMB

You are making same mistake again with this politics of lies, ignorance, hate and bigotry. It is insane to expect a different outcome. You will lule(lose) again as usual.

If you and your base have strong compelling issues against Asiwaju, please go to court or petition EFCC to arrest and convict him. You have the chance since 2007 when he lost immunity. That anyone waited till now alone shows you guys are doing it now out of hate and bigotry.

Asiwaju was the last man standing against the tyranny of PDP's Gen Obasanjo(Rtd), who had all the power to jail him like the convicted Ibori, Dariye, Alamiesegha etc.

He was the last man standing against GEJ who was bold enough to take him to CCT but Asiwaju was discharged and acquited by the court as the charges by GEJ-led FG were decribed as frivolous abuse of court processes.

Those powerful men can jail him if they have strong evidences on him so you social media warriors may try your luck.

Go to court. Tell your idle naive political base to quit this social media idleness and go to court.

I assure you that I will be the last to support Asiwaju on conviction by a competent court. In fact, I will applaud you for doing such great public- spirited work.

I am first and foremost a Nigerian. If Asiwaju is convicted , in my book, he is no longer qualified and that is final even though my appreciation to him for his excellent service to my state will remain.

If you do not go to court and keep sharing this, then what you are doing is mudslinging and it is ungodly and unpatriotic act of cyberbullying and defamation. Over time, it lowers your credibility as one sharing fake news and bigotted posts.

Refrain from this kind of thing, remember Obey's classic song on abanije. The chorus " Abanije e ku ofo arayin leshe" should always keep you in check so that nobody will be keep on tarnishing your image with falsehood.
