Bankalert:
Guys, i just started driving a toyota camry 2009. I noticed two things.

1. The steering wheel is stiff when the car is on and stationary but easy to turn when the car starts moving.

2. There is some loud noise (kra kra kra kra) i observed twice when i turned the engine off recently. I think the noise maybe coming from the engine or something close to the dashboard. I dont drive the car everyday for now.

Please How do i solve this issues?

1. Power steering issue. Your vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic power steering and has a belt driven mechanical pump. You either have a leakage that's depleted the fluid and is causing the stiffness/whining sound (you should hear this) or you have a failed pump.

2. Remote diagnosis impossible on this.

Goodevening Bosses in the house.
Plz my Sienna Old Model consumes much fuel, and the technician suggested I should get norsel resistor so that he fixes it in the car. Is it advisable? Does it have long run disadvantage?

Feels a bit high.

My 08 v6 camry gives me about 480km for about 40liters of gas (which is somewhere around 55 to 60% of the full tank capacity)

I set the Odometer to Zero after I filled my tank

You didnt give information on the driving conditions.
Was this experiment done inside Lagos traffic or on Lagos Ibadan Expresway?
Your driving conditions really influence your fuel consumption. i calculated your gas consumption as 15mpg.
Based on normal city driving conditions and patterns, this is fairly standard.
Carry out this experiment on a free road and try to maintain 70km - 80km/hr and also minimize braking as much as possible
Also avoid sudden acceleration above 2k rpm. Just drive like an old man grin
Your fuel consumption should improve.
i really started driving responsibly since fuel scarcity started and my mpg has improved from 11mpg to 20 mpg.

If improving your driving style doesnt changes things, you need to look at other factors such as themostat bypass (many nigerians are guilty of this) and removed catalyst (which affects your o2 sensors, and may make your ECU deviate from stoichiometric ratios)

Good evening guys.
I have a Toyota Camry 2013 and for about 2 months now, everytime I buy fuel full tank, the would start going off in motion. I could be driving at 120km/h and it would just go off in motion. I could even be driving as slow as 30km/h and it would go off and even when it doesn't go off, it would just be jerking until it goes off.
The funny thing is that after the fuel reduces from full tank, it would stop.
I have changed fuel pump twice. The most recent was on Tuesday.
I even bought complete fuel pump and filter but it is still happening.
I changed plugs, serviced the nozzles and still no solution.
Please does anyone know what this issue is? Or has anyone ever experience this with their car?
I've gone to different mechanics and non of them knows what is is wrong.

Fix it, or it is a serious problem. And do not advertise on this platform to avoid a very long ban

Have you done a scan?
A 2013 vehicle is not what you give to kazeems to do trial and error.
