No mind them

Na here we go dey, Morocco go reach semi-final.

Then one idiot go talk say, "SE will still beat Morocco in a competitive game"

Most fellows here think talking too much about the SE equates intelligence. Always saying nonsense

cheesy
U Dey mind dem.....me I just read and pass when I c such comic

Meanwhile for those always going back to rebuilding....u can c what’s happening with Morocco ,it took d coach less Dan 6months to achieve what d nff/super eagles is aiming to achieve in a lifetime.

I don't understand. You press. When Manchester City met Barcelona, we pressed and dominated possession. You make it look as if there is no way to fight for the ball.

That is the art of the possession game. You train to win the ball with intensity and keep the ball with longevity.

When Manchester City met Chelsea under Tuchel, both sides fought for the ball.

You can't blame the system.

Watch Inter Milan vs Barcelona I think that was this year. Look at how Inter fought for the ball with intensity. So, Spain are ready to do the hardwork to become a better footballing side. Other sides should wake up.

Either way, congrats to Morocco. Sad that Spain lost but Glad and African team with an African coach are through to the Quarter finals.
No need to argue. I have very clear vision of the brand of football I like. I no like tiki taka. Finito

My anger level has dropped a bit tonight concerning Africa, I will support Morocco to the last, I'm seeing a semifinal or better still final for them.
North African region has little or no hatred or beef with us soccer wise , though Algeria and Tunisia still has a score to settle with us, as for Morocco they are one the African teams I so love, we don't have any beef nor rivalry with them, so they can go all the way to the final...Amen
Really?

Omoh the morrocan team a very technical and tactical team, please highly technical intelligent players, put an osimhen or any potent goal
Scorer and this team will enter the finals…

They could have won this game without penalties, that’s how good they are even with all their defending, bro…

Again super eagles play without heart or love for the Jersey, this World Cup keep proving it, no heart …

Great win for Morocco. Spain defeated by a Spanish born Moroccan, Akeem, the son of the janitor/street vendor from Madrid. Yes you called it out, you know, you be incurable optimist grin grin. na so you call am for Ghana, Senegal and Cameroun grin grin
Just look at the Spanish team. Nothing scary about them. Absensio and Morata are not the kind of strikers that would scare you. The midfield is made up of under 20 players with an average Busquet. Aside the Coasta Rica game they have been porous!

Morocco are reaping the fruit of proper football investments over the last 5-6 years of their football overhaul.

It is the reason they are so keen to host almost everything and have been pushing even in the Women's game.

They spent money people. They didn't just gather a team. They invested.

Nigeria can do same. But yes, we can also take the Morocco route and employ a coach that truly knows the best of our players.

Walid and Amunike are similar coaches in terms of coaching Philosophy and style.

Let us not dull ourselves.
Some how, you should share in the joy of what happened with the Moroccans because you have for long celebrated them.

As you said, these things do not happen overnight. As long as we are not ready to stop cutting corners, things will not improve here.

Football has gone from an art to a pure science. You have to lay the right systems on ground and benefit from it.

However, the competition is getting tougher with lots of teams investing and developing quality sides.

Bounou Appreciation

Bounou is yet to concede a goal at the WC from the opposition.

The only goal he shipped in came via an own goal vs Canada

Bounou... A menace between the sticks. The best GK on the continent. The safest pair of hands in African football.

All hail the Guardian of the Atlas Lions.
was also the best keeper in laliga last season

Meanwhile our darling world class eagles never achieve dis feat o grin grin,na only we and Tunisia remain(out of d regular African representatives)
Thank you Papa Haaland. I was really cautious coming into this game but my heart silently believed and hoped for a positive result and we have achieved just that and without conceeding. Beautiful!

Look at a twitter post I made on November 25 after the first round of matches and 3 of the 4 teams I referenced are currently in the Quarter finals.

The other team, Japan lost out bravely in the round of 16 by penalties.

I am again Vindicated. Thank you my Good man.

enrique goofed big tym by not calling up Ramos. With Ramos in the starting 11 any corner kick na big advantage to Spain cus the ex Madrid defender is a beast aerially in the opposition’s 18 yard box

Bono impressed me with his footworks, long balls and quick decision making. His goalkeeping reflex is just an icing on the cake.

No doubt, Spain will come back stronger.

Just here to learn.
1) Is appointing a new coach 6 months to the WC, good planning?
2) getting players developed overseas to change nationality, is that also proper planning?
Just here to learn.

NFF won’t respect & give a Nigerian ex-footballer a foreigners package as well as send them overseas for upgraded courses
That’s why we’d not get there
I was hoping they got a coach like Herve Renard but if they can’t get someone like him why go for a Peseiro when they could have believed in Amunike
They just won’t give a Nigerian 100% control or a foreigners package which is sad
Nothing as passionate like working for your country if you’re treated well and respected
Look at how Eto’o is handling Cameroun football administration.
Nigeria can’t boast of quality fields to host tournaments like the one in Cameroun
It’s about time ex players with managerial skills wrestle out these politicians handling the administration of our game

Can you what the morrocan goal keeper was doing there,

Until we get ourselves a good goal keeper,it gonna be nothing for us,if you like have 10 Messi's in your team, you going nowhere,a goal keeper is the tip of the iceberg,

Spain was able to win 2 euros and 1 world cup with iker casillas maning their post,

Egypt was able to win 3 afcon titles from 2006 to 2010 because of a goal keeper l

A goal keeper even carried Egypt to the finals in thr previous afcon

How can you play with heart when wages are not given on time, no standard facility to always meet and practice in, poor pitches and poor leadership?

Morocco has invested in their football and are currently reaping the dividends.
