Bounou has been doing it in La Liga and at Sevilla winning the 2019/20 UEL with them over Lukaku's Inter. That was a legendary campaign he put together in Sevilla colors.

Always performs for the NT too. Was Best GK in La Liga too.

Come on.. Gabaski shone at the Afcon but Bounou is just the better GK overall backed by consistency.

Gabaski knows his boss. grin

Regardless of our differing views sometimes even to the point of causing personal pain, I believe we can discuss even express strong views without insulting each other. No one is perfect but we be men, let's respect each other.
Bro, I think you weren't there when my parents were insulted a few days ago. Yet I didn't descend to the level of the insulter. Or even when komekn was getting insults left, right and centre...I'm sure you weren't around...because it's the world cup that brought you back to the thread.

Me, I've said my own. The SE is shit and those that can't see it now are living in dangerous la la land. That's not patriotism anymore but deliberate stupidity with a tinge of dishonesty

Simple!

Morocco are reaping the fruit of proper football investments over the last 5-6 years of their football overhaul.

It is the reason they are so keen to host almost everything and have been pushing even in the Women's game.

They spent money people. They didn't just gather a team. They invested.

Nigeria can do same. But yes, we can also take the Morocco route and employ a coach that truly knows the best of our players.

Walid and Amunike are similar coaches in terms of coaching Philosophy and style.

Let us not dull ourselves.
Investment sadly won't be enough if much of it is public. There's sadly a nonchalant attitude most Nigerians have to anything that's publicly funded. Everyone feels they have a "stake" in it and no one seems to bear responsibility. Just like Banking, Telecommunications, Music and Entertainment etc, Nigerian football has a future only of government involvement is reduced to the bear minimum.

For Nigerian football to grow, we need the infusion of private funds, persons running the NFF are more like board of directors primarily responsible to Nigerians via their investors. Governmental role should largely be regulatory.

Why call him a professional capper? Because he would come up with very weird and long-winding scenarios like this to support his mediocre thoughts

Morocco v France in the semis grin

So they will break the jinx

They should continue with this deep defending & counter attack pattern

There’s no way they can keep possession for long against these Europeans

A ton of Qataris/Arabs will be rooting for them in their next match

Just to put it out there... Morocco have come a long way. Football in that country have been on the rise over the past few years. Their investments seem to be paying off already.

°The Royal Morocco Football association built a $65M state of the art training facility in Rabat.
°Their Chan team have dominated Africa in back to back to back tournaments.
°Their female national team have become one of the best in Africa all of a sudden. They even knocked Nigeria out last time out.
°I heard their FA pays $1M to clubs participating in CAF championships.
°They might be playing in the world cup semifinals next week.

These guys mean business.
I ask again, what is the blueprint for developing Nigerian football? What did Pinick achieve? What improvements and innovation does Shehu Gusau have up his sleeves?
Congratulations Morocco.

There's nothing more tasteless than this brand of football. It's abhorrent. I'm rooting fervently for Morocco to do a number on Spain.
Useless passing in 90mins-800+
Imagine o!!! No results. Only to be tactically outmaneuvered in every aspect. They don't even have what it takes to plan cracking the Morocco defence throughout. In middle, Sofyan besting the hyped trio with all passion and vision. Smh.

As for pinnick, I have removed that cancer of a man from my thoughts since he left office. He is good riddance to bad rubbish

I am more interested in seeing what Shehu Gusau wants to achieve even though we all know why they are there in the first place

Put a treasure in a book for a black man and he won't bother to open am. Though I said Spain will win you see from my analysis that I wasn't that sure. Read the analysis again. I was sceptical about who or how Spain will score. Attack is porous and midfield is average.

Possession football has been there since the 50s, let alone it fading soon.

We have the likes of Guardiola, Enrique, Amunike, holding seminars training coaches in the art.

We have seen the likes of Inzaghi, Sarri, Erik Ten Hag, Vincent Kompany, Tuchel, Emery, Lopetegui and a host of others adapt to it. Hard to find a top side that does not conform to the Possession game.

Manchester City has been dominating with it. So how do you expect it to fade?
I wont lie, we can mention players from infinity and beyond that have flourished under the style, but in these times, what Spain is playing is aimless. I'd rather contribute to outsmarting that defence. Okay in the midfield that is the heart of the so called style, Sofyan bested 3 of them again.

What Spain is playing, is it what Pep is playing at City? Like same same??

Haba!!!

Very Glad the haram football is out. They should goan restructure or modify it as City has.

That's why I said, "we all know why they are there"

Hopefully, the change of govt next year gives us an FA chairman with a better track record. Even Pinnick had a better track record than this current NFF chief that looks like a Joker

Sofyan Amrabat's Performance today described in one pic

P.S: I rate Pedri highly and he made more final third pass entries than anyone today and has done so in the entire tournament but....

....Amrabat held them all! grin
