Good because good brothers always know and respect where the border between their Lands are

There is nothing like border amongst brothers maybe your region across the Niger practice that here in Niger Delta we don't..

Ewu if you have problem with Nigerian Navy or federal government, go and sort it with them

I want you and your Governor to come to the location in Rivers state where they intend to dredge. All of you will learn how to swim on that day. grin

Rivers State will need to approve it because you will need to pass through Rivers State to reach the Coast

I didn’t say it couldn’t happen I only asked if Rivers State was part of the Project

If you take a Closer look at the Map you will notice that Imo is sitting delicately on top of Rivers State head

It cannot reach the Coast without serious help from Rivers State

It will in fact have to be a Rivers State Project

The only way the SE could reach the Coast would be if the People in Eastern Rivers State agree to be joined

with Abia State but with what I have seen online they are completely uninterested in the Idea for some

Historical Reasons
I cant believe you typed this. Do you understand the laws of the land or ever had a discussion with people about it. Rivers state approve what? No state has any claim of any river or water ways. FG under the authority of NIWA, NIMASA, NAVY have such oversight

Keep your threat coming.

The federal government will surely get you wherever you are hiding.

This is a federal project. Nigerian Navy Is the one spare-heading it. When they start, go and stop them

Today, I am excited to announce the signing of a tripartite agreement between the Imo State Government, the Nigerian Navy and a consortium of companies led by Geomarine Services for the Urashi River Development which will include the survey and dredging of the Oguta Lake and Urashi River to the sea.

It is no longer correct to assume that Imo State is landlocked because this 93km dredging of the lake to the sea will not just offer an improved security coverage along the coastline, it will also create access for commercial navigation and other forms of oil and gas activities boosted.

The harnessing of our available resources and potentials in developing our dear State, remains a critical approach in the actualization of our drive towards repositioning the State for economic growth and stability.

This will usher in the creation of economic zone around the gas-rich region of our dear State for the benefit of all.

I must tell you, on this note, I forgive him for stealing the office he's occupying.
But I just hope and pray it's not a second term campaign strategy

Go and read the Land Use Act Of 1976

The State Government controls the Land in the State Rivers on that Land are included

If Buhari’s FG mistakenly had any access to the Rivers in States there would be Cows grazing all along the River Niger from Sokoto to the Sea

Why do you think Miyetti Allah are still fighting the government of Benue?

They lost their access to River Benue because Ortom banned them from Benue

NIWA, NIMASA, NAVY Don’t own the Rivers the States do
those agencies only help with their Security

Should there be anything called Biafra, the waterway will become an international waterway. Case closed. If you block it, you collect wotoporously

Waters and Land belong to the people of that state. Sink that into your skull. That's why people opposed water bills.

This is one of the reasons why people say Igbos are not different from Fulani. They're two sides of a coin. Land grabbers. And they're so entitled. Imagine crying just because they were asked to carry River state along.

Igbo hater oya go and stop the project na if dem born u well? I don't even know why people like you hate any good news that comes from igboland any reasonable person from rivers state will be happy about this news because it will also open up all the riverine communities along that urashi river to development and commercial activities.

I don't understand your response, the only law I know concerning water is the 'law of the sea' which is categorised into internal water, territorial water, exclusive economic zone, continental shelf and high sea, but, what I am telling you that Nigeria will continue to have a say and dictate how its been used incase of BIAFRA exit.

You don't invade a Country for Access to the Sea

Niger cannot force Nigeria to give it access to the Sea they can only beg and plead especially if Nigeria has Security Concerns

Let me follow you to your utopian Biafra.

Do you think if Biafra leave Nigeria, other parts of Nigeria will still stay together?. Hell No.

But let's assume other parts stayed together like you assume, Nigeria will only have a say because they too are going to use the waterway, but they can't singlehandedly dictate how Biafra would use it
