The battery is not the culprit really. I doubt it. That phone is old and needs replacement. Replace the battery and the phone will be working just fine. For an almost 5 year old phone, it surely will no longer be able to hold charge like before.

Change the battery first, sell it and buy something more recent.

Am sure there are peeps that have known me on NL over a long period of time, I have sold over 30 phones on NL and no one ever call me out.
