You can move legal funds abroad to avoid taxes that would accrue on them if they were in the country.

It doesn't mean you don't pay taxes. It just means you structure your finances in a way that taxes can be minimised.

Peter obi pay taxes on his businesses that are in Nigeria because they are unavoidable.

There was a time when he submitted his 20yr tax returns. Even tinubu does not have records that long.

To me as a confirmed APC member, I really pity the woman. How much is #9m? Is it enough to mobilize 3 local councils? The truth is LP doesn't have money but I want to salute the resilient and doggedness of obidients for pushing even with little or no funds. Political mobilization and emancipation in Nigeria required a lot of millions of money. Mere support wouldn't do it. You need to give more than shishi. You bring people to rally from various local councils and they were there all through till evening, won't you give for transportation, logistics and feeding? Of course, US doesn't condone drugs issue. US couldn't have just collect $460,000 if it's truly proceed of drugs as they're alleging, US will frozen the account, take every cent in the account and other linked accounts, and still jail you.
