Thank you.

I figured it out after a while

Problem now is that 2 work.fine and the 3rd one it seems when I connect it to the positive AC power I get power in all the connection wires in the wall control.

If I apply a tester all the wires on the wall control light up

Is it that the wall control is bad?

I'm almost certain my AC wire connection is correct. Just positive and negative

Is it that the wall control is bad?

I guess there is a leak somewhere, can't say where in particular

I have used Canadian Solar for like 9 years now and they kick ass. When Canadian solar got too pricey for budget conscious customers, we started using Jinko and Yingli but ultimately stuck with Jinko after a few years of field observations.

Any of the Tier 1 panels do very well - Canadian Solar, Jinko, JASolar, Yingli all provide power close to their nameplate day to day or up to and in excess of their nameplate under ideal conditions.

Given that all these panels can deliver the name plate capacity and a 30 year service life, the economic decision hinges on which delivers the best bang per buck - current honors would go to Yingli for affordability (seem to lack larger sizes locally) then JASolar and Jinko (nearly tie for price and have 550w and above locally available) and lastly Canadian Solar being the most expensive of the lot.

Pertinent to note none of these panels are the best available in the market but are pretty good offerings at an affordable price. Any deeper and the matter quickly becomes a Toyota vs Honda debate grin grin grin

One key success factor is to only buy any of these panels from a credible source - whatever you do, do not go to Alaba if you seek top tier panels with sure provenance

Boss can you recommend any credible seller/importer you've worked with before, the ones I saw on Gennex website are too big.
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Moneyboyz: 1:00pm On Dec 13, 2022
Where to get Canadian solar or any credible solar panel distributor in Lagos, brand new not used.

I am tired of Nigerian importers going abroad to ship home trash that has been disposed. People have no conscience in this country.

hey guys, how has been your day. here is to make you know or remind you that i buy dead or condemn inverter batteries at a very good price compared to other competitors. so do you have any condemn or dead solar/inverter battery, then call me now 09019655663 or 07035158237. location-Abuja/Lagos. We pickup from you. i await your call. Thanks

5 400w in series will do. Wats ur panels voc. If its 50v+/-1 den 4 panels will do.

VOC = 49.1

THE BANK CANT BE FULL AT 50.2VOLTS.
ALSO THE INCOMING VOLTAGE OF 52V appears very low, guess the installers used small guage cables/long cable run and did 2s6p panel config.

confirm your panel panel config and battery type. the incoming voltage is too low, your charge controller may not have been configured properly, plus incorrect panel config.

Good evening all, which of the configuration is best for 6 pieces of 300w panel in a 24v system with 60amp epever charger controller, 3s2p or 2s3p. Anyone to my rescue
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by isangjohnson: 8:45pm On Dec 13, 2022
Looking at the harvest/production aspects of the PV, assuming the PV is well positioned and putting losses, external shadow, surface obstruction (birth droppings) and electrical issues into consideration, what are the advantages and disadvantages of 3S4P, 4S3P, 2S6P, 6S2P?
I'm planning to pick one of the above configurations but I don't know the best one among them.
My 9pcs of 450w Era PV (3 pcs to be added making it 12pcs) has Voc of 49.3v, Isc of 11.6A.
My 5kw inverter has PV Mppt Voltage range of 120v to 500v.
Max PV Voltage is 500Vdc.
To be connected to 15.5kwh LFP battery.

6S2P. The voltage range of your MPPT means the panel Voltage must reach 120v for the CC to wake up, best voltage range is usually stated on the manual but most times around about 300-400v. If you use any configuration less than 6 in series, then your harvest will be poor as your CC will wake up late and sleep early.
By the way you did not include the Amp of your CC to help calculate the total number of panels it can accommodate.
Selah.

Appart from your Batteries being full or floating, You can't compare the efficiency of Independent CCs to Hybrid Inverters.
I had this same problem when my setup was 8x360w (4s2p Wiring) with 60A CC and 3KW Inverter on 4x220Ah FLD Batteries. The Banks never get full all day long and no matter what I switched on, I never got past 1.XXKW production from the PVs according to the display of the CC just like what you have posted here.

When I switched to 5KVA Hybrid with 100A MPPT Built-In Charging at 60A, same 4x220Ah FLDs, rearanged same PVs to 8s, The Inverter sucked almost 2.8KW from the same panels begining from around 10am till 3pm, Batteries gets fully charged before sun down while powering more loads alongside than the prior setup.

Conclusively, I nothiced that due to a broader intelligent programming of priorities on Hybrid Inverters, they tends to query for more power from the PVs than the Batteries. (Output Source Priority Setting: SUB) once you do this, S=Solar, U=Utility, B=Battery. So the SUB order means get every power you need from the Sun first, If Solar Energy is not sufficient or not available, Make it Up from Utility, If both Solar and Utility are not available, take power from the battery banks.

This is one hell of a function that Seperate CCs doesn't have. Because the Inverter sees only Battery Input as power source, it sucks from it, remember that the Battery Banks are closer to the Inverter than the PV and CC in terms of ampearage, the batteries are then always draining.

This whole Hybrid Inverter Intelligence in my own words is revolutionalised in my Deye Inverter which dumps all dependence on Grid/Battery and shifts to Solar inputs for Power, in turns, it sucks everything is can get from the solar before considering Grid or Battery.

In my humble opinion, dump the setup of CC, inverter, Battery and shift to a good Hybrid Inverter, i guarantee you won't regret it. Just make sure that yout setup is properly protected from the storms both from Grid and Solar.

I would recommend you give us your Vmp and Imp also, because 49.3V x 11.6A /=/ 450W (/=/ means "is not equal to"wink calculations has to be fine for you to get it right. More so, do not hook up 12pcs of 49.3V in series to a system of 500V MAX, you might fry the system.
However, from all indications, a 6s2p might be the best choice for you.
