I just wonder how gamblers believe this is a path to prosperity! From years of seeing those who engaged in these acts, they seems to always be in need. Can one be a billionaire through betting?

In Nigeria, I believe the answer is NO but I have witnessed how gambling made someone a millionaire in Naira.

I totally agree with you. Gambling isn't a business venture except you own a bookies company like Betking and the rest

...and when that actual business flourishes, the so called 'gambling' will drain the business. To cut things short, it's a cyclical process, and when one's not being careful cos of its addiction, the flourishing business suffers....

I've managed to make a fortune through betting.However,only skilled and sharp bettors can achieve this.(Those who do advantage gambling-value betting , matched betting or/and arbitrage betting)

Gambling is one of the ways to make money.. Even the super rich gambles too.. Na greed dey kill people, not gamble itself. I have seen two guys who left niaja to UK ,Canada with gamble money,and they are currently doing well for themselves. I have seen a nobody become somebody via this bet thing.. So,if your destiny is not to make it with betting, then leave it for those that are destined to make it with betting. Simple.. You win small change,your first thought na to go buy beer ,carry olosho,instead of putting the money into something to give you daily returns or monthly returns. How you wan take make am that way?
