I left Agege, Lagos for Governor House Street @Ibadan.

Na hunger Pursue me back to Lag.

The house helps go feed dogs with chickens, noddles and biscuit in the morning, na around 11am Dem go begin ask me stupid questions like " Oga wetin you go eat"?!

The idiots go later bring Coke and sausage rolls for breakfast, no afternoon food, night na shawarma! inside a supposedly Billionaire home.

Nobody tell me to Japa back to my trenches where I eat, Amala, Eba, Iya-Hakeem Rice, Eja-kika, Ewa-agoin with Agege bread etc.

Very common with people from the west most especially Lagos.

They prefer buying food to cooking at home. My colleague Kemi in the office then will say I cook and bring food to the office because I don't have money that I am managing the resources I have with me.

Every effort to convince her that in the house where I grew in Warri it was a taboo to buy food from food vendors fell into deaf ears.

She will conclude by saying you can take the boy out of the village but you cannot take the village out of the boy.

I simply conclude by saying no Yoruba woman can cook my kind and taste of food and still have the boldness to come and sell it. It will be too expensive.

I once lived with my cousin when I graduated some years back.

Then I saw the kind of food they served in their house, wetin i wan talk.

I had to adapt to that lifestyle and today,i am happy I did and realised running a home is not easy.

My children dey behave like my cousins children...to finish their food na wahala.

Yes of course sir. You are very correct to the extent that I eventually moved back to the village after my wedding since I could not understand the reason for the Lagos madness.

I just couldn't understand why I will subject my kids to the reckless lifestyle of Lagos. Better a Lion in the village than a goat in the city.

So you see, I am a typical village boy. Are you happy now?

So, because of one Yoruba woman, you decide to insult millions of Yoruba women all over the world, right?

And you want to convince me that you have sense?

You understood me out of context. I am not saying Yoruba woman don't know how to cook. Was only saying the kind of food I like and cook are usually not common within the Yoruba culture and in Lagos you can only find few Delta kitchen around and their foods usually expensive.

Like a portion of Banga or Owo soup could go for up to 3k then I don't know for now. Starch making and those beautiful delicacies from our region are what I was talking about. I never said Yoruba woman don't know how to cook.

I appreciate your explanation, but, may I remind you that people who grew up in other parts of the nation have different upbringing and experiences from those who were brought up in Delta state?

How can you expect them to cook food they may have never seen or eaten?

It's like expecting Delta women to cook Tuwo Shinkafa because a Hausa man is missing it, does that make sense to you?

I can't understand why big man with freezer at home won't cook and preserve, evennif it is just the sauce and stocks.

She was rich and quite an amazing woman! I knew Lagos but she showed me more. I fell in love but she told me she was a single mum and still holding and hoping her baby's daddy will do the necessary.

She was so unique with quite a unique voice that complimented her stubborn nature.

It’s negligence or what will I call it. In an organized home all you need do is order for your choice of food from the cook and you’ll be served at any time of the day. The madam of the house makes sure of that. If you are a foodie then get close to the cook and that’s all you need do.

Understood, nevertheless, the fact that you're in love with one woman, does not give you the right to paint all other women with the same brush.

So, because you have a wife with four kids makes you think you are smart?

They didn't tell you that stupid people also grow old?

You, in your egotistical little mind, you expect the entire Yoruba race to find and cook your type of food because you are who?

An entire culture dating back to prehistoric times should pander to your whims because you want food?

To top it all, I was trying to point out the foolishness in your post to you but in your great elderly stupidity, you can't even detect it.

The distaster in growing old without wisdom is that you will not only be the one affected but the innocent children who did nothing wrong to deserve the kind of foolish guidance they are inevitably going to be saddled with for most of their adult lives.

So, don't bite me in your anger, for the sake of those innocent little ones, get sense.

Summary:

Age is not what makes you wise, it's the application of what you have learnt over time that makes you wise.

How do we detect wisdom: the content of your words.

I'm done with you.

You are so unwise ! And the fact that you kept going back and forth means you are Indeed very slow of understanding . And your use of many words even confirm my first four words.
There was no where he said yoruba women can't cook, he said he had to cook his own food because buying the type of food he loved to eat would have been too expensive and rare to find.

He even honour your stupidity and explained his perspective to you, you still insulted him and assumed his kids to be under poor guidance .

Can you hold conversation with people who have different opinions from you and never result to insulting them ?

Gosh! You are a typical Nigerian lady who only knows about wigs, phone and hair , but can't detect meanings from words.
