That's why I don't feel I miss out if I join another congregation meeting if I'm not available to join my own... Like we're riding the same vehicle together or like all of us being in the same classroom
Yeah, God's kingdom was also a good topic we discussed together. Next week is our circuit week and we're preparing for that. I've been busy whole month in the ministry but it is fun
I'm really grateful for this privilege from Jehovah and Jesus Christ. There are lots of anxieties. I'm almost done with the university and sometimes I'm just anxious if I'll get a good job with good pay that can cater for my needs. There are also imperfections I struggle with but being in the kingdom hall is like entering a pool. All those anxieties leave me especially when we're singing and the greetings at the end
Yesterday, I handled my first initial call assignment though I used to join either as a householder or as partner I am actually good preaching and not too good in the platform cos of facing the audience and using the mic. When I heard my name, I did not know whether I was fearful or under inspiration. I just prayed that Jehovah help me and did my part. The householder did not even help matters, he just looked at me like an hausa soldier but the brothers said it was excellent so I believe them cos I felt I did not do well

If you continue, you'll enjoy everything. The meetings and the ministry too. There will be challenges but Jehovah will help you overcome them all. Remember that we're marching in towards the end of this system of things. Very soon, we'll enter the Great Tribulation which is the darkest, most distressing time in all history. We just need to endure and remain faithful. That's why we cherish our meetings that educate, encourage us. We really need them and we need the brothers too so I'd advise to start befriending them. We encourage you to develop a strong relationship with Jehovah... All the best bro... Don't mind our behavior on this forum. Na just cruise, no be say we just wan de find trouble or display Bible knowledge

If you mention traditional doctors or traditional herbalists, he would immediately think that they use charms and do rituals.

The pressure was not small, I gave way to tears thinking I'm a black sheep or trying to tear down the family
They even report me to the church. They prayed that Emmanuel should vomit the food that JEHOVAH'S Witnesses gave him to eat
They've seen and now acknowledge I'm a far better person, better than all my siblings
I have more knowledge of the bible
I preach, I speak truth, I read the Bible and I dress well
They themselves are complaining about the hate and evil in the church and I'm the one trying to unite the family
If I say I no longer want to be Jehovah's Witnesses, they will not be happy.
What you will face, see it as a test. A test to prove your love and loyalty to Jehovah or to be a coward. Jehovah will be with you, he won't leave those who want to prove loyal to him. Gold is tested by fire. You are not these yeye premium churchgoers that feel that the life of a christian is without tests cos when the tests comes, they blaspheme or leave God as if he were to blame. They said Abraham is their Father and his blessings are theirs as if it was actually easy for Abraham or Abraham did not face tests to prove faith and loyalty to God... Even Jesus Christ faced tests and he was killed, all his disciples was killed except John but he too was tested and spent his later years in exile alone in an island in his late 90s.

If I were to bring myself to your understanding, I will say that pregnant women that go to the hospital or nursing homes are false Christians. Why not turn your church to a lepers colony since Jesus also healed them? Bring all the blind as well as the dead so your church can resurrect them

I once walked with a missionary, he's the one who advised me to make sure of the more important things. Each time the organization quote a verse to back their teaching i read, study, meditate thoroughly and prayerfully consider it's practical application putting myself in the story apart from what the Watchtower teaches.
With that the verse become my own as if i sat beside the writer reading his mind when he was penning down the word!

Is he not the same person that said Moses WALKED barefooted and later said one step forward can be termed as walking. He claimed Jesus walked barefooted cos he went to pray on a mountain and mountain is holy. I have not seen where Jesus went to one holy mountain to pray or he removed sandals. Even if he comot sandals, at least, he was not walking barefooted
