This US summit is just a big waste of time. Speeches and proclamations will be made but the countries that are actually in Africa doing good (building, providing cheap energy, and security) are mainly Russia and China.

No statement could be further away from the truth than this. Russia is doing nothing first of all.

You can't expect America to outprice China because labor and resources are cheaper in China. However, many successful startups in Nigeria were built from American investments. There is USAID, The World Bank and others.

The Chinese pattern is to build projects while the US pattern is to invest directly. Its the same pattern throughout Africa. China leads in Capital investments while the US and France dominate in FDI.

Whatever startup you are talking about was probably funded using private investor funds not US gov money. USAID is a CIA cover. The US only cares about itself that's why it has and will not fund any infastructue in Africa.

World bank lending rates for Africa are crazy, for some countries it's over 10% while they give industrialised countries in lower than 5%. Chinas loans to Africa are below 10%. But they are the ones accused of trapping Africa in debt

In my opinion, Kenya definitely has the market. I've now looked at our internal research and based on the corporate and FTTH uptake, regulatory improvements etc, Kenya should see nation-wide 5G coverage by Q1 2024.

Kenya's leading telco has been testing 5G network from this year. Existing smartphons in the country were not 5G capable, only new buyers are getting 5G enabled smartphones, so 2023 will be the year most people will switch... Currently only Nairobi and Mombasa residents with 5G enabled devices can tell us if they occasionally get 5G connection speeds while safaricom is still on the testing phase as we await national rollout in FY 2023-2024

Emergency response Team( ERT ) check the shoulder patch. It's actually a tactical group which is under ATPU a directorate within DCI.

Lol, Despite USAID being CIA cover, you can't deny the impact USAID have had on Nigerians lives especially those poor individuals that don't have money to buy some drugs that get it free. You won't understand until you are in the situation.
