The client sent two different voice notes abusing me but I just have to replied her that IM SORRY,still texted the client second day asking her to forgive me and overlook my shortcomings in which she replied yesterday. There are lots to say,but I just have to overlook it and move on. This is not me on reality sir. I just have to requested for 30% to secure the contract cos I think I've let her know too much through calls,so going to her Site and tell them what to do would expose the brainchild of the Work to another roofers which he'll do it easily. If you underquote cos you failed to carry out a physical assessment and valuation of site that's your own problem, you are the one who is going to fill in the gaps in the shortfall.(This is how workmen get into trouble)You as a contractor/builder at this level should be able to devise a more suiting system to deal with these type of situations. even if it means adding the services of a QS

Actually I don't always request for funds before coming to the Site. I told her I'll come when she's ready to give me the contract. And if I come there, I'll collect 30% and tell her bricklayers/engineer what to do,so when they're done, I'll go there again with my team of carpenters (that 30% is part of payment of me coming there and doing some works with the client Bricklayers). I didn't tell her to send me money before coming. She's only offering me transportation fees which I declined.

That will be a good idea, land + location determines value cost of building. I missed out on FO1 allocation when El Rufai was the minister of FCT. My brother then is begging me to buy from the allocation is less then 2 million everything inclusive. Years later when I decided to buy from resale I couldn’t get any for less them 8m move to FO2 bought @ 5m 8 years ago. I don’t even know how much those areas worth at present.

ah so sorry about your friend's ordeal he should have known na. I was almost a victim of kidnappers at ibadan here, I even created a thread for it. Once a client start acting like WhatsApp chat is not trust worthy for him that he wants you present on site immediately that's a red flag bro, but I understand the rush I know that feeling when you think it's a project that will trabaye u will want to put in everything you can. Kidnappers are everywhere o don't even go somewhere with not less 2persons. They mostly use foreign numbers these days and claim to be based abroad.
