You are silly. The cost is grossly inflated and its the people that will pay the price of this through unending toll at that bridge.

Governors, police etc with their entourage won’t pay a kobo on that bridge. It’s ordinary people that would be affected.

Re: Lessons From The Second Niger Bridge - Thisday by Medphy: 2:45pm On Dec 22, 2022
But mind you it's a Government enterprise since the bridge will be toll. The only infrastructure under this regime that will be commercialized to further milk the Igbos and continue to marginalized them.

The ONE and ONLY tangible gift to easterners by APC/ buhari, is all good, though.

Plus 30 billion naira being shared by the FGN to ALL ( irrespective of party) states to ease the fall out from reduced federal allocation. Of course Buhari is just evil so let's hate him without asking our governors what they do with their 30 billion every month.

Tolls are in most developed countries. It is a way of government revenue.

I am not a buhari or APC fan, have never and will never be, but truth be told This APC government has benefited the South East in terms of infrastructure more than any other government since 1999. It sounds very funny, but as much as i hate to admit, its the truth. This goes to show that Elections shouldnt really be about tribe or religion because sometimes you wouldnt benefit from your tribesman being in power. Lets vote wisely.

Nigerians and short term memory. Who constructed the entire owerri-onitsha road, leveling the notoriously steep Njaba valley that luxury buses and trucks couldn't climb but kept stalling falling back? Asaba-Edo-lokoja-abuja, abia-okigwe-enugu roads? Infact, you people don't realise our federal roads before 1999 were mostly single lanes of the narrowest forms. Full of very deep gulleys that swallowed those 911 trucks. A den for worst hoodlums that robbed, raped and killed travelers trapped by the gulleys, collisions, traffic jams etc

So It took Nigerian Govt 43 years to build a bridge the white man would have completed in 4 years. Yet we still blame the white man for ills going on in the country. Or when they left they also took away our common sense and logic.
And you want us to celebrate just a single achievement of the Minister and failed APC govt. How short -sighted are we ?
How's the bridge going to be maintained ? You better give out the contract and make it Iron clad for 99 years or else the bridge going to have pot holes and death traps in a few years.

Amaechi did extremely well. The person you quoted seems to be writing under the influence of narcotics.
If Buhari can do all of these when our finances are so tight, we can only reject the PDP and its different offsprings for robbing us blind.

Firstly this bridge isn’t worth the amount that was said to be used in building it
Secondly the bridge shouldn’t be tolled
Thirdly Buhari is a colossal failure

How can s tolled bridge be a gift? Besides, Igbos would still pay part of the loan making it double payments. Use your head!
