I’m proud to identify with this enigma.

Do you have any idea what subsidy removal will do to an average Nigerian today?!! Compare it to 2012!

Like you don't know Economics! There were many poor people in 2012 as there are today. The Bible says the poor shall not cease from the land, or aren't you a Bible believing Christian?

So you as a human being has known the only thing you knew since 8 years ago? You haven’t learned new things? Life revolves and evolves. You get to know certain things the higher you go.

Almost everyone was denying there’s subsidy in the past. Even Al mustapha agreed there’s subsidy. It is very glaring there’s subsidy and it is not helping our economy due to sabotage. We are diverse and vast. We need to tighten all bottlenecks.

This man is sick, to listen to him and comprehend what he saying is even a herculean task. What is appalling is the way his gullible and bemused supporters clap at every sound that he makes, even when its the least audible. That in itself is sign that they have been informed on what to do ahead of the event. Rented and hungry bigots that are ready to do the bidding of their pay masters.

It’d be unreasonable for anyone to protest again fuel subsidy now.

Fuel subsidy must go for the greater good to come.

Let fuel subsidy go. No need deceiving ourselves. Time to cut down on cost of governance.

One thing about Nigerians is that they find it very hard to accept the truth especially when it doesn’t suit them

They want someone who will lie to them later n shenk them with reality when the going gets tough

Where is the 65 naira per litre buhari promised them?

Where is the heaven buhari promised them?

But here is someone saying it as it is but they want sweet lies

Irrespective of whoever becomes president subsidy will b removed, that’s just d bitter truth we have to tell ourselves

Where was the truth when he led protesters against Jonathan for the removal of this same subsidy. You mean Tinubu, as intelligent as people claim he is did not know the truth then?

All these subsidy problem would have been a thing of past by now if Tinubu did not use the welfare of the people to play politics solely for his own gain.

One of the few reasonable things he has said so far!

Yet, he is a bloody hypocrite!

He instigated protests against Jonathan over this same subsidy removal...!

Sometimes I wonder if he has forgotten he protested against this same subsidy removal then. I'll love a situation where he'll be interviewed by a seasoned journalist and the person will bring up all these for him to answer to... Including all his statements about what APC will do once they come in

I'll run love to hear his replies

Subsidy that would have become history by now, you and your minions shut down the whole country saying subsidy was a scam. 10 years later you are now claiming you will remove the same subsidy.

Timing is what determines if you can eat your food or not. If you take it out too soon or too late, it's not the same taste and quality. This is so basic i feel worried having to break it down.
Nigerians came out en masse to protest and show their displeasure when the federal government announced the removal of the fuel subsidy, around the time the contents of the 2012 budget revealed excessive amounts given to frivolities.

So that's your defense? Even during their campaign in 2015, they claimed subsidy was a scam... How many of their promises did they fulfill? N1 to $1 and all fake and unfulfilled promises. Nigerians are wiser, I'm sure they won't want to fall again for APC and their lies from the pit of hell

Fuel subsidy is a poisoned chalice. No matter how good it taste, it’s still disastrous to the overall good of the body. So yes, petroleum subsidy must be completely eliminated sooner than later.

The above notwithstanding, it is better not to rush it under the current petroleum importation regime. Let’s get the Dangote and PH refineries fully operational before completely removing subsidy. That way, the effect won’t be much and the immediate savings of our forex can be used to support the Naira thereby leading to reduction in possible inflation.

Is it hypocrisy or lying or surprise if you don't agree to the same salary you agreed to being paid 10years ago?

What was the value of the Naira against the Dollar back then?!!

What was the earning potential of an average Nigerian back then compared to now?!!!

What was the average standard of living of most Nigerians then compared to today?!!

By how much has the minimum wage across government to private establishments increased since then?!

By how much have the nation's internal revenue generation and exportation increased since then?!!

What was the level of inflation then compared to now?!!

Let's start from these basics!
