You are the leader of your party at least you were decorated with it, even if you are not in government your influence full there, now what advise have you given to government that they don't deem fit to accept, why are will still subsidizing till now when you know that removal is better for close to 8years. I remembered your party said there is nothing like subsidy when Jonathan attempted to remove it. Before you make another promise let us know the percentage fulfilled from the the ones of 2015.

One thing about Nigerians is that they find it very hard to accept the truth especially when it doesn’t suit them

They want someone who will lie to them later n shenk them with reality when the going gets tough

Where is the 65 naira per litre buhari promised them?

Where is the heaven buhari promised them?

But here is someone saying it as it is but they want sweet lies

Irrespective of whoever becomes president subsidy will b removed, that’s just d bitter truth we have to tell ourselves

It’d be unreasonable for anyone to protest again fuel subsidy now.

Fuel subsidy must go for the greater good to come.
But in 2012 it wasn't abi? Imagine if that has been done 10 years ago, would we have been where we are today? Pls always think out of Office

Every presidential candidate have explicitly admitted that negative implications of continuing with subsidy and a dire need of ending it!
However, what is also paramount is how he intends to ameliorate the current sufferings of the citizens to ensure the pain and hardship that comes with the removal doesn't affect the common man!

So he is invariably saying that Buhari has failed woefully. But you cannot be the president since you are simply Buhari pro max.

Peter Obi said that fuel subsidy is a scam. Let's give him a chance because he is the only person we can trust among the other contestants who have history of fraud, corruption and even drug dealings.

Pain and suffering are inevitable
All our neighbouring countries are reconciled to no subsidy so we should get used to it

Arrogant display of insensitivity. A man given to everything evil.
I'm not surprised in the least. After all, a drowning man, left to meet his fate, will mock those watching his demise.
Tinubu ti lu lé. His Doomsday has come home to his cocoon to roost.
I sympathize with his supporters, because they are BATstards.

You still don't get it!
I don't care what other countries are going through because their situation is different from ours!
When FG said the cost of living was not synonymous with just Nigeria,I did a search and discovered that the inflation rate of UK and USA have drastically reduced while ours is till pushing up and not coming down anytime soon!
Pains and suffering is now normalized as a way of life doesn't imply there cannot be moves to ameliorate the hardship it will cause!

Secondly an average Nigerian will not be able to face the hyper inflation that will instantly come upon the economy as price of goods and services will triple!
The only solution is to ensure the refineries and that of dangote starts refining which will put an end to subsidy!

..and when fuel subsidy goes a litre of fuel will be from 500 to 600 naira more suffering for nigerians.. instead of Tinubu to say that he will repair the refineries and make the refineries to work first before removing the fuel subsidy

I am against fuel subsidy but saying he would remove it despite Nigerians protest is nothing short of dictatorial.
I mean, what else is he going to do without taking into consideration the opinions and plight of ordinary Nigerians.
Brace up people, a dictator is coming (heaven forbid)

He will only decide on whether he imports narcotics from Colombia or Afghanistan.

Those are just words . The reality is that petrol and diesel are imported. The government has borrowed so much now it literally cannot give Nigerians cheap petrol any more than they can give them cheap food. So the point is not whining about what should be but dealing with what is which will be either Nigerians pay or the pumps are dry.
Even if Dangote refinery works the product will not be free. Any subsidy will necessarily mean a cash transfer to Dangote He borrowed money to build that refinery and must repay and make profit.
At the same time ASUU is on strike etc. Subsidy should have been removed a long time ago but we decided to wait until it was no longer a voluntary choice. That is the reality Nigeria cannot survive 2 3 years of subsidy with the debt service already exceeding revenue. We are literally borrowing money to pay subsidy? Does that make sense?
We have been through worse before . Those people who grew up when 10 Naira notes was the biggest denomination are still around .How do you imagine they feel seeing Ghana must go bags of Naira. Subsidy has passed the point of choice now

What was the value of the Naira against the Dollar back then?!!

What was the earning potential of an average Nigerian back then compared to now?!!!

What was the average standard of living of most Nigerians then compared to today?!!

By how much has the minimum wage across government to private establishments increased since then?!

By how much have the nation's internal revenue generation and exportation increased since then?!!

What was the level of inflation then compared to now?!!

Let's start from these basics!

Growth is not development. What Lagos experienced is growth and it's an indicator of underdevelopment in Nigeria. High land value, sky high housing cost, traffic and population congestion, high density, overpopulation etc. are alll factors of underdevelopment disguised as growth.
Tell Tinubu to come and school in regional development planning.
