As Christmas is few hours away, I went into the popular market in my hometown, Ile-Ife in Osun State South West Nigeria to Check out what the prices of Chickens are presently. My findings show that the Layers which are eggs that are tired of laying are between 3000-3800, depending on the sellers wish to sell after bargaining. The Broilers are sold based on Kgs, with very heavy big ones going for 12k at 7kg while 3-5KG are between 7500 - 9500. Most Chickens sellers sell by road side, especially around the market areas and busy Junctions. How much is the cost of Chickens in your areas and what do you think about these prices? I think they are on the high sides? Or you disagree? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq__nwqZUDM

The old layers are sweeter. Left to me, I'll go for the old layers though I'm not a chicken person. |
