You must also have a terrifying disease you're treating. All those countries you mention are places drug guys, ashawo (porn stars), and celebrities love to go for vacation. Your business must be editing and shooting porn movies, medical tourist, drugs or marketing illegal stuff in the name of using USA passport.
I bet you to deny because I'm in Canada I understand you. I've not seen were u mention any Arab countries even as beautiful as Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc. So your business and traveling is to countries that allow your illegal business. Web business like editing porn videos is legit business that pays big time. Quote me! grin

I really love your assertion. However I would opined that it's not as easy as you think. Like I myself, I really have the passion and enthusiasm to venture in to the tech realm. It is my believe that digital skills is the new vogue.

Unfortunately, you gat to start somewhere, like in my case getting a Laptop. Heck I don't even have the means of getting one talk more of kick-starting this journey.

All in all, I believe when there is will there is hope. Later or sooner I would get there someday.

And to everyone that's thinking of what to do to earn a living, To me having a digital skills is the best thing that would to anyone. There is tremendous opportunity one can avail himself with.
Nothing in life worth having or doing is easy. Yes, you have to start somewhere. Even if that means hunting down the last existing cybercafe in your city, to get it done. Even if it means searching for a computer rental program in your city. Google "laptop rentals in [enter your city]." Yes, laptop rentals exist in Nigeria. I know, because someone I offered a lucrative job once gave me an excuse of not having a laptop, and that there was nowhere to rent one. One quick google search later, and I sent him to a rental location in Abuja.

Where there's a will, there's a way. At the end of the day, it's all in your hands. A cybercafe might be your most affordable option. Also see if there's a library in your city that offers free internet access. As you said, you gotta start somewhere. So do exactly that.

Personal anecdote: The first step that directly resulted in me becoming a US citizen started in a cybercafe, in a dusty Nigerian town, as a teenager.

Two top countries I haven't visited on my list are Japan and Australia. While I was in Ulsan, in South Korea for some months, Fukuoka, Japan was just a 2-hour boat ride across the water. I kept procrastinating on the trip every weekend, till I left the area. While leaving Korea, I decided to move to Osaka, Japan, but somehow my buddies in Thailand convinced me to come back, so I did. I'll still hit up Japan at some point.
What was your experience like in Japan. What was the difference between Fukuoka and Osaka, which do you think is better for foreigner?

Haha, I have nothing to prove to anyone. Anyone can take a picture of a passport from the internet and post it online, so that proves nothing.

However, with that said, when I first posted this thread last week, I actually had a pic of my US and Nigerian passports. The mods removed it.
It's good they removed it for your online security and safety.

Haha, I know how that goes. I was hoping it won't get moved to the home page, just to keep the thread on topic, but it's all good. It's not as bad as some threads get. It's still relatively on topic and salvageable.

And for the passport pic, it had zero personally identifiable information. Just booklet fronts that could be anybody's.

Plastic surgery is very common in South Korea.

ramalot:
Beauty is very subjective, so it depends what you find beautiful. Across different continents, these ones stood out, for different reasons:

1. Girls in Seoul, South Korea are probably what you're referring to as "billboard standard" cheesy. I spent 3 months in S. Korea.
I found them very beautiful in a typical "model" kinda way. Unlike most Asians, people in South Korea are tall. So, tall and very slim girls with beautiful faces all over Seoul. Well dressed and very conscious about their appearance.

This doesn't apply to all of South Korea though. Girls on the coast, in cities like Ulsan (where I also stayed) are the opposite. Conventionally unattractive, overweight and little care about their appearance.

2. Ethiopia: I think Ethiopian girls are some of the most beautiful in Africa. Particularly Habeshas. Pretty faces, with very slim but curvy bodies.

3. Colombia: The average girl you find walking around looks nice. Maybe not a beauty queen, but the gene pool is generally good-looking. Better-looking than the average girl in Brazil (in my opinion).

In Latin America, it was Panama City, I believe

After you get married, where will you settle down and raise your kids? And why?

ramalot:
By the way, questions do not only have to be about serious stuff. It could be almost anything you're curious about. Whether socioeconomic issues in Brazil, or the booty in Brazil cheesy. Don't let my sometimes formal tone make you hold back on curiosities.

As long as it's not about how to get visas and the likes (which I can't help with).

In the US. The US has it's faults, but it's where I'd rather be. Haven't found a different place that's worth the trouble of going the residency route.

You're actually the one with a problem...
It's a simple question... More like "what do you do for a living that allows you or requires you to travel this much??"

It's a very simple question...
The O.P can choose to answer(which he already did, He said he runs an online business)
Or choose not to answer.

I don't understand where your show of anger emanates from..
You have a personal beef with the person that asked the question?
The guy does not do any work that requires him to travel. The work he does is one that he can do anywhere. He believes, if he can do his work anywhere, why should he stay in one country. And that's why he travels.

Which parts of the US is best, especially as far as safety goes. I saw what you said about Chicago neighborhoods. That's the bad, which is the good and which is the best.

That's a more complex question than it might seem, as the US is a very large country. The easier way to approach it is at a city and neighborhood level.

Whatever state you consider, you have to look into the crime rates of each city. Even at that, some neighborhoods in most cities are either good, ok or bad. NYC has its safe, ok and terrible areas. So does Miami, Atlanta etc. Even Chicago has good and safe neighborhoods, as most of the violent crime is concentrated in the South Side of Chicago.

If you're a multi-millionaire though, feel free to buy property in Hollywood Hills and move in next door to the stars cheesy

I do fine for myself, but this is actually a misconception. You don't need to be rich to travel the world, if the following apply:

1. You have a passport that offers visa-free access to many places.

2. You are educated (formally or informally), with enough marketable digital skills to earn a good remote income. Whether as a business owner or employee. There are a ton of things you can teach yourself with free resources online, and get a remote job with. Programming, data analysis, cybersecurity and a lot more. Stuff like graphic design might not cut it, except you get a full time remote job.

3. You have the flexibility/freedom to just get up and go, for long periods. This is much easier when you don't have kids.
Good evening sir, why did you say stuff like graphic design might not cut it.
I'm not a graphic designer, but design in any form is always interesting to me.

I'm studying a design related course and doing an online Ux course also.

What would you say about ui/ux in the tech world, is it enough to "cut it" like you said.

Wow never knew @bolded is possible. Would do that right away.

Although in addition to that, I'm also planning to start using the E-library at my UNI and I think that would be a great start.

Thank you for the advice tho. Really appreciate.

Abeg tell me more about New York and Los Angeles CA. Na there I wan migrate enter soon. How's the gun violence in those States?
Ramalot was on point with the violence in urban areas like in Chicago ... Black on Black shootings mainly gang related. On the other hand.... the White neighborhoods face mass shootings ... if you check the news... mass shootings are almost never in urban areas. I work in a notorious hood in NYC ... in the midst of various gangs into different stuffs ... drugs... gun runnings..... pills.... prostitution etc... but if you are a stranger to the community you will not know all of this is going on. Unlike in Chicago or Detroit.... these operate like businessmen... like the Mafia ... each knows his boundaries and the street code. No doubt... from time to time... there would be a shooting or two .... but not the gang banging as in other States. People go about their business as per normal and you may not believe .... but being robbed or shot is not something that people here worry about. To paint a better picture.... people here usually walk around with their phones in the back pocket ... that's normal. The thief is the one who has to worry because the gangs will come down heavy on anyone causing the Police to come to the area and disturb their operation.
On NYC ..... rent is expensive ... extremely difficult to get a gun license ... mandatory sentence if found with a gun without permit to have in the State.... all jobs and everything can be found here... fast paced ... multi ethnic ... verrrry competitive and a whole heap of opportunities ... a magnet to immigrants.... and pretty much outstanding like Lagos is to the rest of Nigeria.
I'm out on this ... back to the thread.

He should take permission and tell you the job he does before he goes where he goes to, or because of you he should not post on the internet or what exactly? Or he should state the job he does before he posts a thread on Nairaland for your favors? Don't you have hands too to work and make money and tour the world like him? The thread is invaluable, so it should be on the Front Page. It is Nairaland, a discussion forum. Yes, once a thread hits the FP, readers should expect all sorts of comments, however, that should not be a reason it should not hit FP. The best option which was done is to allow the thread to run up to 3-5 pages before taking it to the FP. That way, the earliest comments are related to the thread. Another option is to overlook unsavoury comments. Everyone cannot react in the same way and you cannot please everyone
