Wike is powerless, this past week showed it to the world.

Even the contraption he has managed to bring together in G5 is threatening to break apart.

Wike has no allies, no friends. The G5 are a group of merry go round boys, spineless and without direction, are these the ones you expect to provide Wike with some backing?

Everyone one of them has little say in his party at the center (even before the present imbroglio), for some of them, their candidates may not make it to the posts they want, all in all, they have limited influence even in their constituencies, talkless of at national level.

Tinubu has been able to put in place a system that ensures he stays at the top, through the backdoor(the GAC which he chairs and whose members are mostly his Loyalists, talk of democracy, lol), he can install and uninstall who he wants in Lagos (check the Ambode case and how he lost the primaries), this comes with attendant benefits of having his boys in strategic places he can use to negotiate and influence (e.g Gbajabiamila), Wike can't try that, won't even dare that.

Who are his allies in Rivers? The Sim he is trying so hard to install in govt house, what assurance does he have that they (Wike and Sim) won't become another Amaechi and Wike (after all, he was Amaechi's boy too)?

His only hope may be for Sim to become governor and use influence to hold him down, can he become a godfather in Rivers when even the governorship is not sure for him? Not to talk of probes that may come for him?

He has Amaechi and his clique to contend with, plus Abe and his side, will these guys allow him to do as he wishes without the present power he currently wields that he has been using to intimidate and bully everyone?

The future does not look for Wike, it's as clear as daylight and he seems to understand that (his interview after returning from UK this week showed signs) plus the party wields enormous power over him and his gang who have started looking for the way out.

By this, they are removing States Exco under the govs control from controlling election matters (the excos implicated themselves by following govs, their loyalty is to party not governors), so excos as of now have little influence in everything election (presidency to state assembly), this is a 3-0 in a single shot.

If you believe in equity vote for Peter Obi not another SW after they have been president for 8 years and another 8 years for VP while other zone like SE, NE and NC are yet to taste the presidency. Anything short of this is hypocrisy of the highest order.

If Wike was so keen about a party chairman coming from the south, he shouldn't have fought out Secondus whom he unilaterally imposed on the party.

that’s not the issue. Secondus was removed to pave way for a northern national chairman and subsequently a southern presidential candidate. But Atiku came and scattered everything. Atiku is the real problem of PDP and he’s leading them to their grave.
