Why didn't Buhari attend Tinubu rally in Kano?

You expect Buhari to leave governance and be moving from one city to another? If he does you will still be the one complaining,more so his name is not on the ballot. But be well assured Tinubu is the next president.

Without Buhari, can you see how people line on the street of Kano for Jagaban? That’s street credibility and Jagaban letting you know that he can do it by himself and the help of ALL the Northern APC governor.

Because Tinubu is a godfather and kingmaker. He's not a small boy politician that needs introduction and putting him there like many others. He's a more thorough bred politician than the Buhari you are calling. Nobody or cabal will tell Tinubu that he put him there or made him president.

Bro, I am no fan of Buhari. I made it clear it is his office I respect. I too resent the lack of support and near open disdain he shows for a man who has given him virtually everything in the post-1999 era of our politics.

Yet Buhari, even if we do not respect him personally, cannot follow Tinubu on the campaign trail justifiably because of office workload.

You are right about his ethnocentric bigotry and I resent Buhari's open ethnic chauvinism that totally beclouds his sense of gratitude, loyalty, graciousness towards allies and "one good turn deserves another".

Yet, as Yorubas will say, "oro shin bo ti o ba di ojo iwaju". Besides we must remember many Northerners are behind Tinubu.

I respect Tinubu for his political sagacity, but leave Buhari out of this . Buhari has said it times without number that he will support Tinubu. So leave him out of all these.

He attended the opening campaign rally in Jos. He will attend the closing rally here in Kano too.
