The singer also noted that Obi will have to organise “his home front” to convince other regions that Nigeria will be safe in the hands of an Igbo man.

Some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to criticise singer Olawale Olofooro, better known as Brymo, after making a remark regarding the possibility of an Igbo being elected president.

Brymo, who is a supporter of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, noted that it is not wise to elect the former governor of Anambra Peter Obi as President this year.

The singer also noted that Obi will have to organise “his home front” to convince other regions that Nigeria will be safe in the hands of an Igbo man.

In response to a Labour Party supporter’s tweet, Brymo said, “Don’t respect my intelligence nor choices… you are trying to not accept a resolve… argue more then… pls …. It is not prudent to elect him yet, he may have to vividly organise his home front to lead rest of us… an Igbo VP first maybe to test the waters with the region is safer!”

The singer in another opinion stated that the Igbo presidency will remain a pipe dream as long as there is talk of Biafra in the South-East.

He also tweeted that he would rather have an ‘ailing president’ than vote Obi.

However, the comments did not go down well with Nigerians as they labelled the musician a tribal bigot and “Igbophobic.”

No Ethnic group is a slave to other ethnic group according to the law of the Land

Please we should avoid comments that will cause Nigeria further problem, comments like this gave birth to agitations among our Igbo brothers. Feel free to support your candidate of your choice based on your personal reasons without insulting any ethnic lines.

Every Nigerian have the right to vote or be voted for according to the law of the Land

I totally agree with him, obi and his biafra gang are shitting on our intelligence, they are trying to have it both ways, they want to rule Nigeria while at the same time deceptively wanting and promoting biafra.

I actually saw this coming.

The obi ipob thugs like to attack insult and abuse Yoruba people, especially Yoruba celebrities when they voice support for the APC or Tinubu, they attacked this man but unlike other Yoruba celebrities that took the attacks and insults and looked the other way, this man refused to look the other way, he responded in kind.

I salute his courage, this is the only mode of firepower obi ipob thugs and toxic bullies know and deserve.

I honestly feel for Obi seriously

The show of shame of his campaign and the bad name he gave Psquare the upcoming artists performing in an empty field in PH is so embarrassing

I honestly feel for him on a more serious note

I sincerely wish he will not giveup in contesting again after the election

Joke apart, I honestly feel for him

Everyday you’re always honestly feeling for Obi undecided if you make 5 posts you’d be feeling for Obi in 3 of them sad you opened this your account only to bee feeling for Obi upandan. Na wah

IT IS ONE THING FOR FACELESS OR UNKNOWN PERSON TO MAKE TRIBALISTIC COMMENT.

HOWEVER, FOR KNOWN YORUBA MEN TO BE MAKING TRIBALISTIC AND RACIST COMMENT IS A SHAME TO YORUBA PEOPLE AT LARGE.

EVEN WORST IS THE PERCIEVED HATRED TOWARDS THE IGBO PEOPLE BY YORUBA MEN.

THEY ARE NEVER AS BRAVE TO RESPOND OR CALL OUT FULANI RAPING THEIR MOTHERS AND WIFE IN BROAD DAY LIGHT IN THEIR HOME TOWN AND VILLAGES.

The only animals on the surface of the earth are the obi supporting and defending barbaric ipob animals and terrorists slaughtering igbo people like animals, decapitating their bodies, throwing them in pits, roasting them to death like fcukking cannibals.

Yes, the barbaric animals in the SE, the ones Obi is their grand patron.

2023 Presidency for Igbo President is the last fight Of Igbo people for one of their own to represent them as President of Nigeria.
After 2023 General elections in Nigeria and no Igbo man from the south east win the Presidential election. People everywhere will see the other side of the Igbo people they have been keeping in check for tolerance sake: by them all Igbo politicians, Igbo elites, Igbo groups, Igbos that belongs to various security agencies in Nigeria, all igbos agitator groups and other igbos will have an outburst of anger and injustice to igbos and will all say to hell with one Nigeria.

The biggest revolts in the history of the world will begin with the Igbos venting their angers, and by then it will be too late to call the Igbos for negotiation, because the situation will be out of control.

Research have suggested that the next civil war in Nigeria will be fought in the 36 states of Nigeria: the Nigeria military will be stressed out beyond what they expects, not even the Ghanaians and Foreigners will be left alone for the D day resurgence.

By then those who says an Igbo person from the south east can never be the President of Nigeria will then realized that living in peace is better than fighting an unending wars: then they understand the value of peace but it might be too late.

The Afonjas the children of hate and sons of the fallen demon. Doing what they know best. Being vultures. No wonder their father was thrown out of heaven with a skinny cock........imagine how the Northerners have insulted Tinubu and no outrage. None of these vultures accused them of having ruled for more than 40 years . And why they should not hold power because of terrorism in the North.
Psquare who are Igbos supported Peter Obi without mentioning these Afonjas. Didn't give bigot views about the other tribe. But now an Afonja has done it and their excuse is that when Psquare supported obi there was no wahala. When Brymo supports Tinubu problem. No one cares if you support Tinubu or not. Just keep Igbos names out of your mouths. That's why they are the only ones who have never organized a coup yet they claim brave. Demonic cowards. grin

people like you don't deserve to live, I am not from from southeast but I hate people like you. Always blinded by hate and bigroty.

You are in the same pedestal as ipob, you should be shot on-sight. You are capable of harming people and committing genocide because of this hate.

Calm down, it won't get you anywhere, we are all humans before race and tribes. Be reasonable
