Osinbajo would have had a better showing than Tinubu, the only thing that might have worked against him (or at which Tinubu comes ahead of him) is people's management.

Osinbajo was already a favorite in the north, I speak as a northern Muslim from the NE, I would vote for Osinbajo ahead of Atiku.

Most of the so called northern governors can't afford a different party (PDP in particular) winning, they know what it foretells for them. Political doom and Oblivion, they don't want that.
