Tax Debt: FIRS seals Peter Obi’s company, other companies in Lagos, Kano

The Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) on Tuesday stepped up its tax enforcement duties, shutting companies in Kano, Lagos and Onitsha for outstanding tax liabilities.

In Onitsha, the warehouse of Next International Company was sealed. The company is owned by former Anambra Governor, Peter Obi.

The company has tax liabilities of N20.4million. The breakdown showed that the company has failed to pay Company Income Tax, Withholding Tax and Education Tax since 2006.

Well, we all know that this man is a crook, a chronic and prolific unpatriotic tax cheat and tax dodger, but the question is, why is this crook always dodging taxes?

Hard-working Nigerians pay and must pay taxes, but this crook is always refusing to pay his fair share like the rest of us.

He shipped his billions to Pandora just to dodge and avoid paying Nigerians their dues in form of taxes.

Just imagine, this crook, a lawless, anti-social and anti-Nigeria dubious element wat to rule Nigeria, this is really sickening.

Mr Obi is one of the individuals whose hidden business activities was thrown open by the project. Indeed, he has a number of secret business dealings and relationships that he has for years kept to his chest.

These are businesses he clandestinely set up and operated overseas, including in notorious tax and secrecy havens in ways that breached Nigerian laws.

Even I look for ways not to pay the government any of my money, especially the 50 naira stamp duty, and I’m one of the most straightforward person you will ever meet, so I applaud him for evading the useless government.
