This is our project site........

This site is still overgrown with weed, so we will start by clearing this bush on the building site. We plan to clear the grass by tomorrow morning as we procure other building materials...........

Without wasting any time, we moved into this bush, with a mission to clear it all........

We discovered an existing foundation construction here, we we will plan to remove it before building this new house on top of it. This will throw in some delays and additional spending, but we wil tackle it head on. .........

Please I have experience building bungalow but I want to start duplex but afraid of the unknown. Can you please help me with rough estimate of Decking 3 bedroom duplex, the number of rods needed, the bag of cement and wood and marine board. Just rough estimate to give me a picture.

I am out of the country and I want to start my project and this is the only area that is giving me headache as I already plan for the other components of the project.

There are 2 grades of iron rods in the market today, and they have different prices. There is the SON approved standard gauge that is complete, and there are the incomplete ones. So giving prices without knowing the types in your location is not going to help much in my opinion.

We completed the clearing of the site early yesterday morning, but we couldn't work as bee hives are on this land. Even after burning the grass, the bees maintained their abode and defended it fiercely. We all got a few rounds of stings

So we reinforced and came back to attack the bees at night, and we harvested some honey combs from the two hives, I think we can work without the fear of the bees today..............

Apart from the honey combs where we squeezed out some honey, no bush meat yet, but it's still early as we can still catch something here .

6 inches blocks can, and has been used in a lot of 1 story buildings. But my advice is that a knowledgeable person guides the process so that load management issues will be mitigated from the start of 4he construction. Thanks.
