I am not justifying murder. Murder is the worst crime.

However, I only responded in this manner because you were downplaying what the girl did.

What she did was bad. Emotional abuse is too underrated in our society, yet it is worse than all forms of abuse.

What the Chinese man did could be said to be beyond his control, that is why he mentioned provocation. If his provocation defense is successful, the highest charge he will get is third degree murder (manslaughter) which does not draw a death sentence.
