Don't encourage this. Drop his number and call him, and what next? I don't support the driver but this is not a rider's forum where they should seek punishment against drivers.

If subsidy is removed it will affect every sector of the country. Transportation will get the highest hit.
Snrman1:
Once FG remove subsidy can we say goodbye to ehailing ?

Subsidy removal cannot end ehailing. People will continue to move from point A to B.

Normally prices of commodities will increase to reflect the new fuel price. Transportation will increase.

You don't want to tell us how you resolved, but you came to tell us the issue ab initio.

It's ok. Thank God you both resolved.

Whether you're a rider or a driver, just treat people the way you would want to be treated.

If I notice a driver's pay is lesser than the distance covered, I usually add to it. A lot of riders would be happy that it's cheap!

I feel 4300 is less for that distance! Even the ride showed you higher price when you tried to order.

For your mind it will make fuel scarcity disappear?
Mind you it won't still make fuel cheaper that it used to, the Guy will be targeting world price.
That one is sure, after all he will be wanting to recover the money spent fast.
But if this country isn't scam why will an individual build an refinery yet federal government can't fix the nation's refinery?
Something fishy is going on

E choke, I know because the people that matters have a hand in dangotes refinery it will work but trust these Guys they are never inconsiderate. All they care about is themselves, so I can't see that refinery making fuel cheaper anytime soon.
Maybe with time they will also give the Guy monopoly of fuel refining and you know what is happening to other stuffs like cement, rice and the rest.

Why won't request come from far when they keep yanking drivers off their app and the remaining ones now port to indriver and Rida?

Nope...
But you will see more abused corollas available for sale on jiji.com.
Ride sharing by passengers may finally become more mainstream.
Moove will be moved... to where I don't know.
Institutional investors may pull in to fill the gap as private investors bailout.
Final nail on Tokunbo HP deals.
Weekly rental will jump to 45k per week
drivers on rental may need to check in for psychiatric evaluation.

But this Bolt fare can be ridiculously low. Imagine staying in traffic for 1 hour plus and the bad roads going to Ipaja and yet Bolt put the price at 4300. By the time they remove their 25% and the driver removes fuel money that he bought at 250/litre, how much will be left for such a stressful trip.

Reason I don't think twice before canceling requests going to such forbidden axis. I'm sure if you were to use indriver, without putting up a reasonable amount of money, you will old at that airport as no one would be willing to take you to iyana ipaja of all places inside that mad traffic for 4300 if you'd put that as your price even when they are paying 10% commission.

Bolt will not give you any favorable response because transfer is not part of the payment method.

I see riders like you as petty. You could have left the money but you don't want to. Stop this excuse that the money is not big to you if not the driver's attitude.

This is not supporting the driver. It has happened to me before and the difference in price is just 500 naira. I gave the petty rider 5k cash to give his girlfriend that was traveling yet he couldn't let go of 5h. Well, when he sent his account details, I sent him 400 naira deducting 100 naira for POS charges. Yes, I don't owe them that favor so I decided to charge.

What happens is that riders rejoice when the fair is ridiculously low even when they know that it's unfair to charge such amount for spending that long time in traffic.

Bolt is annoying without surge.
Mr man..nobody is forcing you to drive with bolt..if you feel the price is not fair enough..you leave!!!..
This is injustice on the drivers part because the fare shows 4300 and he collected 6500..he ought to return the balance..nothing concern the rider weather he makes a profit or not the driver should trash that with bolt and not the rider..that’s the price she saw and she paid!!!!
But if rider do una strong thing nah you will be the first to come here and lament..
What is good for the goose is also good for the gander..she should drop the guys number let’s all call him to pay back.

The refinery will not immediately sell cheaper fuel..don’t forget he has about $16billion to pay back..
The only good thing about the refinery is that we will have enough forex to go round for our needs..making naira stronger!!

Bros na Naija we dey, that refinery may turn out to be a cause to the common man.
Obviously the people that have stake are the same people that have refused to fix the nation's refinery, so how do you think after spending that huge amount of money they will think about the common man?
As for forex, well let's keep watching.
But one is certain this country is an anyhow country, very unpredictable.
As for your forex and naira getting stronger you can't be certain.

it's actually not her fault. Gmap recogniss one street in that Yaba axis as Lasuth so if u dont check correctly that is where it will takw you to. it has happened to me before, had to renegotiate price with the rider. she probably just entered Lasuth without checking the map.

dapotemi:
I picked a courier request on indriver today from V.i to magodo for 4k...Usually anytime i have a courier request , ll just complete d trip after llike 5 miins so as to pick another one going to that area. I use only indriver..courier trip meanns 2 trip for me. After about 10 mins , i got another trip, aa ridiculously low fare trip frm 1004 to Lasuth, ikeja , for 2,700..That trip appear very low for me but i dont have much choice ,i need to move as d first trip (lady ) was already calling . Immediately i pick this woman and i clickk on navigate as i always do, trip waass taking me to Herbert macaulay, tho Lasuth was written there but i know there is no how 1004 to Lasuth will be 2,700 at about 8:30am, peak period. Triedd again and map was navigating to onne street at Herbert macaulay ..Ask maadam where shes going and she says Lasuth ..What coukd haave happen , is there a way riders can go even below d benchmark ? Indriver usuallly give rider the lowest price they can go when they reduce price,is there a way they can even go lower? I reluctantly picked that ride because it was 2 in 1 trip for me. Drop rider in Lasuth ,drop courier in magodo ...Tho me and rider finally quarrel sha
