Imagine. Someone that should have faced jungle justice

Whatever happened only God knows. Because I still cant still figure out how and why a police Superintendent of 33 years experience on the police force aim and shoot a pregnant woman. I still don't understand what went into him to do that.

He has to entertain the court na. If he says guilty, the case is finished unless his lawyer will claim insanity on his behalf!

If he pled guilty, he’ll be sentenced immediately. What he is doing wouldn’t get him anywhere but it’s what he should do.

he has the right to defend him self... Say no to jungle justice.. He also has a right to a attorney

What do we expect The cold blooded murderer is afraid for his life. Since he has pleaded not guilty at the court, bring him to the village square for judgement by the public.

You wouldn't understand what happens when power goes to the head of a ranking Police officer.... 33 years of power in his head... even been leaking through his mouth ... that's a demi god .....I can shoot you and nothing will happen. If they investigated him well ... this is not his only victim. I just hope the judge was one itching for the day such a Police will enter his court to slam him with the max.

Not Strange. I don't even think courts allow anyone to plead guilty in a murder trial or any high profile case, so they can pass through the trial process proper.

Guilty plead full of remorse & begging for forgiveness from the diseased family, and attributing it to accidental discharge is far better than the nonsense this police officer is doing.... Anyway no how this man can go scott free.

Legally you are not allowed to plead guilty in a murder case even if you wish to. You must be tried and found guilty. Only small cases allow guilty pleas.

He might not be guilty of murder.

It's left for his lawyer to put up a strong defence for Man-slaughter.

A smart lawyer will make sure the Nigerian Police Force also share in the blame for the incident for issuing an ASP an AK-47 rifle in 2022.

He can also plead that the officer was working longer hours than required by international labour laws without adequate rest and good mental health care.

Plus if he pleads guilty right away, there will be no trial just straight to Judgement which will be too bad for him.

As an ASP he understands very well the workings of the law, so let him stand his trial.

He can also plead for leniency on the ground that the ASP has served the country for good 33years.

So it's a essentially a work related accident and not necessarily a murder case.

They should release him to the Ministry of Jungle Justice.
