•Jesus was crucified for the sin of BLASPHEMY. Matthew 26:65-66, John 10:33

You must gain admission into the university first before you start taking courses.

So, you must be a member of the family of God first before you start following instructions.

Your first responsibility is to first get saved or be born again. And you are saved the moment you act on the instruction of Romans 10:9-10.

First believe in your heart that Jesus died for you.

Second, with your mouth, confess what you believe and declare that Jesus is the Lord of your life.

The moment you do that, God will give you a new heart. Your life changes and your past sins are washed away.

Then, you are now ready to follow the instructions of Christ to live the new life.

The one who is not born again cannot live a life that pleases God.

Paul knew better than all of us today he said people can't believe if they're not preached to and convinced {Romans 10:13-15} Jesus is God's Son through whose lifestyle we can please God if we imitate him.
Agreeing to make Jesus your role model is what believing him means but you can't do so if you're not convinced that he is the only person God gave us to follow his footsteps.
