Your amala is not turning. Try again.

I mentioned Abiru election, you said because APC won in a landslide, I shouldn't use it as an example.

Oya let's use Sanwo-Olu election that he won in a landslide, you suddenly want to use it.

That's why I said follow the conversation from the start and not try to nitpick. I already said in one of my response to sodiq that there were pocket of violence here and there (which happens in most states of the federation's anyways) but that there was no full blown violence in Lagos 2019 election whether Presidential or Governorship.

If you are looking for full blown violence, Rivers or Imo would've been a better example.
No be from clap dance they start
If we were also prepare for violence won't it blow out of proportion

I am not arguing violence with you. I simply said Abiru bye election cannot be used because it was already a resounding victory for APC

I neither talked about Sanwo-Olu. It was you who wanted to use it.

I only said Abiru's victory was too clean, for anyone to be looking for violence there

On a serious note, Atiku's nonchalant attitude is puzzling.
I just dey imagine if Peter Obi had not garnered massive support, we may see Atiku only on Election.

The guy is too confident(even if he wants to use hackers). That is why I don't trust all this polls they keep posting here. Obi is a 3rd position candidate

Obi, coming 3rd is not the issue.

If Atiku wins, it means Obi affected BAT more than Atiku.

Atiku and Tinubu (because of Shettima) will split the NE - Borno, Yobe, Taraba, Adamawa, maybe Jigawa, Bauchi and Gombe. They'll also likely fight over Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara

Kwankwaso will worry in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina.

That leaves Plateau, Benue, Nassarawa and possibly Kogi and Kwara up in the air.

It's doable but it'll be very tight.

The SS or SE were never going to vote Tinubu even if Obi hadn't contested.
It being PDP-dominated, Ifeanyi Okowa would have been heavily sold as an Igbo man. And the SE and SS would see him as a bridge between them.

Plus the SE and SS APC faithfuls rooted for Osinbajo openly. Neutrals too. Tinubu was never an option from the start.

Unveiling information about his health, mental issues and muslim-muslim ticket after the primaries validated that stance.
There are many southerners vehemently opposed to back to back Northern presidents.

Of course. Many and most aren't the same.

The dislike for Tinubu seemingly outweighs that.
That's why Ifeanyi Okowa was picked. His name and his geolocation. It would have been easy for Atiku to pull sentimental strings. And he made promises to both regions to succeed him.
The calculation would have been, since Tinubu is the top 3 most influential in the South (SW), by 2027, he'd be too old to run thereby paving the way for others.

Peter Obi 'ruined' it for Atiku. Now taking up his default votes in the South and Middle Belt.

Them say Obi will win Lagos.

Shey you dont know Igbos constitute half of the voting population in Lagos? cheesy

Aside the fact that Obi cannot get most of the votes, he cannot get 25% in 24 states needed to win when Labor Party barely has any presence in most of the North

So don't bother about that pipe dream

Lol, some of the Obi people takes are rather too optimistic grin

However, this Lagos thing seem to be everywhere.

For instance, no one will be crazy enough to even suggest that Obi will lose Anambra to Tinubu.

So when you keep seeing people saying Tinubu may lose Lagos to Obi, you have to pause and ask what they are seeing since they are the ones living in Lagos.

Don't take Twitter people too seriously

There's no way Tinubu loses Lagos though he will get the least percentage from Lagos compared to other SW states.. In Oyo State ask the voter in Ago Amodu what is Obi?

It's important to keep the Obidients enthusiasm high especially in SE and SS. Every vote denied Atiku in the South is a win for APC

The same effect Ross Perot had on George HW Bush in 1992 that made him lose.

The main fight is to neutralize Atiku in the North

APC have spent more time attacking LP than PDP.

If not for anything, APC and LP should be looking out each other, since they are representing the South.

If Atiku wins, it would be very clear that Obi cut Tinubu ticket.

That is because Atiku voters are not online. So attacking Atiku online makes no difference

You attack where you will have impact.

As it is today. Obi has stolen Atikus lunch in the entire SE and SS.

APC needs to keep it that way.

Of Obis current support 90% of them would have voted PDP and not Tinubu

I am not understanding where this amala is coming from

Larr. ide and Sodik were arguing about violence during elections in Lagos.

Larr.ide said in 2020, there was no violence during Abiru bye elections

I told him that election should not be an example, because APC was going to win convincingly. Even the results show that.

What is the amala in this one?

Definitely. It's also a pipe dream that Peter Obi will sweep SE and SS. While I've always conceded that naturally Obi should sweep SE, it's going to be a different ball game in the SS.

Buhari actually got over 40% of votes in Edo both in 2015 and 2019 but somehow Obi will sweep the place that an incumbent GEJ didnt sweep. I also believe Tinubu will get at least 25% in Ebonyi, Imo and maybe Enugu.

In the SS, Tinubu will get at least 25% in Edo, Delta, Cross River and Bayelsa.

Anyone is free to agree or disagree sha.

In 2015 and 2019, Edo was under the control of APC, like you said, these permutations would be revisited post-election. APC won't get 25% from Edo State.

Yes a good number of SW voting for Obi are Christians but that is due to a combination of many factors:

1. Osinbajo not winning the ticket rubbed a lot of his supporters the wrong way so Obi will benefit from their protest votes

2. Muslim-muslim ticket is another issue.

3. EndSars

The people voting Obi were never likely to vote BAT check the people that voted for Atiku in 2019 and i'm sure almost 90% are now for Obi. PO will eat Tinubu's pie in Lagos but Atiku will be hurt so badly he might not get 25%.

Without Obi on the ballot Atiku easily gets votes from SE, SS to counter whatever BAT does to him in SW. In the North apart from sharing core northern votes the sizable Christian communities would have seen Atiku over the line.
