Water heater in SA houses is a necessity because they have a cold winter season. In Naija, it is a luxury. We don’t need it and I dare say many wealthy people don’t even bother to install water heaters in their house because frankly it is not necessary.

In 2003/4 I was in boarding school and I complained to my mother that we had to bathe cold water and me, na hot water I sabi.

So, my mother donated water heaters to the school just so there would be hot water to bathe with.

As a child, I did not think much of it, not even when the school administration kept repeating it like it was some great donation.

Seeing this comment is making me laugh, because I actually did not think water heater was a luxury in 2003/4. It's crazy that it's still a luxury in Nigeria today, sad even.

Please can someone help me with the big brother titans time table? Time table in this context means what time they do their activities. I'm aware there's a time zone difference between us and south Africa (about a hour or so) and I've found that confusing , I know they have HOH on Mondays 6pm, Sunday live shows will be 7pm too. But I'm struggling to understand whether they're sticking with the bbnaija time table or not. For instance are they bringing back Thursday night arena? When do they have pool parties? Is there going to be wagers on Friday? Etc.

I've been watching since the launch on Sunday, I watched the hoh games and the nomination on Mondays. I think biggie gave them a brief , something about singing. I'm not sure about that.

So far my fav housemates are ( ebubu : i like his energy, ipeleng : the prettiest female housemate hands down ,thabang : i really like him, mmeli : I feel mmeli has this cool guy vibe , and I love the way biggie calls his name. I'm skeptical about yemi, I'm still watching him tho. I dislike Jenni o, she's too loud. I don't like Nana either, Marvin is too dull, I feel he should be giving more considering his reality show experience. Justin might pull out of the show, he seems depressed. I'm indifferent about khosi, we'll see about that.

Anyway it's my first time on this big brother thread, I joined after level up finished.

Yaya served us looks yesterday because it was her birthday, today she's wearing a drab orange sweater. I'm yet to see anything spectacular about Tsastsi's outfits
