The problem with people lacking wisdom is inability to think deeper.
China is a confused nation but after killing themselves for decades they came to agree on communism.
Though communism is a form of government that makes sense at an early stage but the next generation will discover that it was forced down the throat of their parents and in the end what you think will bring lasting benefits will lead to terrorism.
Note that most Chinese were slaughtered by the time this revolution began and the history can't be wiped out from the hearts of millions whose parents and loved ones were sacrificed sooner or later some among your own people will start to question that opinion:
Why should some be killed because of the ideology brought up by others?
Why not appease and convince them to embrace the movement if it's truly worthwhile?

This is the reason Jesus preached about heart to heart talks in a respective manner instead of using weapons to force your opinion on your neighbour. If you are subdued your children will not forget it and later generations will condemn it that's what will happen to china soon.

As for beliefs in deities of course an average Chinese may consider all the gods gone and forgotten but your rulers know what they're doing, they purposely ruled out the part of deities in their politics because that's exactly what America (current world power) used to humble USSR diplomatically. So they know that without the influence of religious ideas in their politics whatever they agree upon will hold. But when you're fighting the enemy outside you need to also keep an eye on the enemy within. As long as there are countries practicing federalism and capitalism around Chinese children will soon be influenced by the thought that one can own the whole China as his or her own personal property no wonder your rulers are killing anyone found embezzling public funds thinking it will serve as a means to instill fear in the minds of others who may be thinking of doing the same but such forceful ideas won't last as long as there are other lands where people are free to do whatever they like.

Jesus' government will make a big difference.
WHY? Unlike governments that's only ruling a part leaving out other places he will destroy all other human governments globally {Daniel 2:44} that's why he said by the time he is ready to extend his government to our planet all his opposers must be slaughtered! Luke 19:27

So if you think China can make a Paradise know today that you're deceiving yourself after your politicians have blurred your senses as long as there are law enforcement agents who can also be attacked and killed with weapons no human government can bring lasting benefits. Jesus' own government won't use humans as his law enforcement agents rather it's angels that will slaughter all those opposing his government so no human can wake up one day to start a revolution against God's own government because if you live up to a 100 years without being satisfied fully with all the benefits you and others around you are enjoying in Paradise you will die at the age of 100 years {Isaiah 65:20} while obedient and loyal citizens of God's Kingdom will live forever in Paradise on earth! Psalms 37:29
