Curious345:
the federal government subsidies a liter of petrol with ₦240

Current price ₦185 + ₦240 = ₦425

You will buy fuel at ₦425 once the subsidy is phased out in 12weeks

Expect transportation fare to quadruple and food/untility prices to triple .

You will buy pure water for ₦50 each.

All courtesy of balabluu and buubuu

Petrol can't sell for 425 if subsidy is removed.
Check kerosene is 800, diesel is 820, gas is 850. Fuel will sell around same price range of 800 per litre

I said it last year and I will still say it again today any market dangote enter will automatically increases, I mean the price of the product will skyrocket.
Take a look at cement industry before the invasion of dangote, cement was relatively cheaper he dangote came in with a more cheaper price to attract the attention of the all public to him and after gaining the trust of the public he increased cement price, now it is dangote that determines the price of cement in the market.

I said is that immediately Dangote refinery starts in Nigeria automatically the price of petrol will increase and see what is going on today.

No wonder google said dangote is the owner of Nigeria. grin if you sceptical about this,go to your Google chrome and type " Owner of Nigeria "

Yur brain dey intact, you know the game. preparing him to meet good price favorable to them. Then after the elections, no matter who won, they will remove it totally since every major contestant has promised to remove it. Though times ahead.
Immatex:

I have a suspicion that this scarcity is artificial, programmed to make Nigerians accept the new price of PMS after Dangote refinery comes on stream in February and so called subsidy is removed.

With Dangote refining and selling Petrol in Nigeria, expect prices to hit N500/litre before end of year.

Dangote has the formula of making consumer products beyond the reach of ordinary Nigerians even when his wealth is built on borrowing from every Nigerian.

Subsidy going bit by bit

When Dangote Refinery comes on stream

You're talking of subsidy going bit by bit meanwhile 3 trillion was earmarked for the first 6 months of the year. With this provision, there is still scarcity everywhere and government is turning a blind eye to the massive exploitation of the masses by the depot owners.

These are desperate times and desperate times call for desperate measures. Any depot found to be hoarding fuel should be taken over by government.

Same thing should be done to those inflating their prices and causing this artificial scarcity. Even if we are in the last days of the administration, government should not turn a blind eye to these practices and instead work assiduously to leave a good legacy behind.

In the last days of Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, Nigeria was a big mess. There were no light and no PMS, and Boko Haram was throwing bombs all over Maiduguri.

The truth is that the same thing is practically happening today, except for bombs going off all over the place. There's a pattern here. It seems that Nigerian politicians become less concerned in the last days of their administration.

If not, how does one explain that Buhari is paying subsidy on PMS and people are buying the product for #300? undecided
what a missleading lies...I remember how much fuel was when Goodluck left

When Dangote Refinery comes on stream
like this, you don't have a single shame.

Same subsidy your party swore not to exist, then promised a refinery each year. After eight years, not a single refinery is working. You're currently obsessed with Dangote refinery.

On top of it all, you still support same party. If not for anything, your kids deserve a better future

Let's see who is the shameless one here

Obi/Kwankwaso/Atiku of Old PDP now NNP and LP could not attract an investment for a refinery in 16 years... Yet you think God won't Judge you for supporting any of them

Bola Ahmed Tinubu single handedly created Lekki Free Trade zone, With Lekki Deep Sea port that attracted Dangote Refinery

Do you think you can benefit from Dangote Refinery if you continue hypocrisy of trying to finish excellence of Jagaban

Las las na heros beer you would use in your car

Regional shey? Better than this but it's still a trap. Y'all know the north and the powers that be won't allow that. Your question should be where the Africans occupying the present day Nigeria were before amalgamation and regional government.

Until you acknowledge and frown at the mistake of your colonial masters, the inhabitants of the geographical boundary called Nigeria will never have peace. Truth is bitter!
