If you can make it to Ondo, and you know getting the job is truly important to you, then your best best is to undertake the journey.

'Invitation for interview' hope you are sure of appointment letter? Invitation for interview in the present day Nigeria is like somebody just want to waste your time. People who gets job write cv after appointment or they don't write at all.

Dont discourage him pls,people still get jobs by just sending their CVs to companies without knowing anybody,even in recognised companies with quality operations and good salary.I know of myself and some of my friends.Its a matter of time,when it's your time it will happen

Go for the interview, explain to the HR of the school about your willingness to work with the school. Shoot your shot, you might be lucky. I'm talking from experience as an HR/employer. The only reason it may not work is if you're filling a void urgently. But definitely if the interview goes well, you'll resume next month.

My simple idea from experience in Nigeria is that you ensure you attend the interview first, Leave Bayelsa and come for the Interview. Interview is a two way thing, its either you are successful or not...but I pray you are successful. If you call them to reschedule you may likely not get the job at all, other applicants have attended the interview, so why wait for only you. Reschedule is likely not going to get you the job. During the interview you will be asked when you will available for resumption, you can now tell them in a months time because of your POP. They dont expect you to resume immediately anyways after the interview its a win win for both the employer and you the employee..

Go for the interview, explain to the school with your credentials and all your NYSC information

You can only do this if you didn't lie in your CV that you are done with your service.

If they know that you are almost rounding up then this is the best advice. They will definitely give you time. Good luck bruh.

Contact the school, explain your challenge to them and plead with them to reschedule the interview.

Don't ask them to reschedule; they have other people in line and others were also invited along with you! Go for the interview if you can, but if you can't, send them an email explaining your situation! The onus is on them to either reschedule or outrightly cancel!
