Hwang gi seok in payback is just like uhm ki joon's character in little women. To the outside world they seem like evil demons and they are but inside they are both weak men being controlled by their ambitious, manipulative wives lol. After watching episode 1 I knew this was a drama I was going to like but not love and after watching episode 3 I kept trying to figure out the reason why I just wasn't enjoying the drama as I thought I would but after last weekend's episode, the reason became so clear to me. Among all the revenge themed dramas I've seen, payback seems to be the one with the most bleh and shoddy revenge plan. Usually in revenge dramas e.g the glory, eve etc they take years coming up with great plans and strategies and studying their enemies every move so the revenge can go smoothly even if the bad people pull a fast one, because of how long the revenge was planned, the main characters can quickly recover but with payback they're just doing their revenge as the spirit leads, no better plans, no studying of their enemies. Jang Tae Chun was literally working on a different corruption case when they roped him into their revenge. Moon Chae won had 3 years or whatever to plan and all she was able to do was get the original document in a flash drive. You're going up against the richest and most corrupt group of people and you think your flash drive is all you need? Infact if not for Lee sun kyun's money, she wouldn't have been able to bribe/threaten the people that they were able to. As for Lee sun kyun, all he knows is the money part of myung's business, is he trying to tell me that after all he went through working with myung he didn't expect him to get dangerous. When they tried to kill him in episode 3 or 4 or whatever I was just like wow did these people not expect this? They really made no other plans incase those thugs tried to kill them? Even when myung murdered Mr oh and they were acting shocked I'm like did you people really not expect that? NA wa o. I'm not even angry that the bad people are winning, that's normal. It's just annoying me that they are trying to do revenge against mighty people with zero planning and strategy. I hope that now that eun Yong has spent like 3 months in prison, and Tae Chun is suspended, they'll use that time to think of a solid plan. Another annoying aspect is mcw refusing to go back to her prosecutor job. I get that she feels guilty about her mom's death and all but they called her back to work and she's forming righteous woman when demons like hwang gi seok have no qualms climbing up the ladder even after being suspended. If she had accepted her job at least Jang Tae Chun would have a colleague he trusts and even if he gets suspended, she'd be there to back him up. Mtcheww anyway

Crash course in romance continues to be lovely. I thought sua was the only bi!tch and her mom was an innocent bystander but she's just as awful as her daughter and pretending to be nice. I'm now confused as to if there's 2 different attackers, I'm sure the lawyer's 2nd son is the one with the marbles and he seems to be protecting Choi chi yeol but I don't think he's weird enough to kill that nasty student. It's either someone else did the killing or it was the lawyer's son but it was an accident, maybe the boy struggled with him and accidentally fell off the roof. Eotteoke I was thinking Hae e and sun jae were going to be a cute baby ship but all of a sudden there's a hot hockey player and we have a triangle (lol not again). The most annoying thing is I like both boys so I'm already prepared to be hurt. This triangle might end like suspicious housekeeper where she ends up with the tough boy instead of her best friend or like 18 again where she ends up with her best friend instead of the tough boy or it might end up with all of them just being friends and no cute baby romance *sigh*

Yooo this the missing people shouldn't even mess with me. IL Yong better be alive by the end of this drama. He can't be in a coma for all these years only to come and die. I have already been dreaming of him living with Kim wook and the gang since last week. Are they really trying to say the only reason wook can see the village is cos IL Yong was desperately looking for him? I feel like there should be another connection but if that's how they want to play it. Fine. So that new villain killed wook's mom. I'm a bit suspicious of captain Kang's family friends, I hope they aren't responsible for her death. I have always suspected that principal ahjussi but I didn't think it'd be his son that killed him accidentally. We never got to see the son's face. I hope he's not one of those drug dealing thugs.

There's this upcoming drama that I got interested in cos it had a lot of people I liked in the cast but *sigh* it's going to be an audio drama lol why can't they just make it for TV so I can watch my babies. Oh well I don't have energy to stream korean radio so bye.

*sigh* after shooting stars, Kim Young Dae picked a sageuk which I didn't watch and now again he's being offered another sageuk. I hope to God he rejects it and picks a modern drama. I miss my mans
