DoubleeDee:
It is a pity we see ourselves from our pseudo ethic identity before seeing ourselves as Africans. This is very evident in our local polity and it's replicated in every facet of our lives.

Rather than assess HMs for what they bring to the show, we have continually displayed several instances of ethnic bias even amongst our own on BBN.

I don't care what SAns are doing to promote what we termed their own, the show is about individuals and not country. Anyone that is deserving of a win should be promoted irrespective of their nationality. Our actions and reasoning should not be shaped by our perception of how others are behaving but what works for us.

Why can't we have non Nigerians by merit in key positions of our industrial structure and development? Even the current PM of UK is of Indian descent. Such a thing will not happen in Africa and that is why we have remained underdeveloped.

Everything is seen from the prism of "us and them" even in a harmless reality show like BB. Let's enjoy the show by removing that cloak of prejudice please.
Meanwhile the simple comprehension of the “coupling” has eluded some of us. The winner will be part SA and part Nigerian! So if you like, hate the other nation with all the fiber in you but you are still going to vote for their representative that is coupled to your fave….. grin.

That person you're quoting is a known bigot and tribalist. A person who even in something as fun loaded as BBN only support Yoruba HMs. I'm not shocked he's voting for a senile old man just because he's Yoruba.
See me dey answer am, I no even know.

Thank you for this information, it makes sense now.

Yesterday Biggie mentioned that the pairing will remain until he's ready to dissolve them, so, I don't think they are winning as a duo after all.

Earlier today, immediately she heard what was for breakfast (yam with eggs), she took offense and began complaining to some of her fellow SA housemates about how the Nigerians hated PAP (a certain traditional SA food) but still decided to serve them yam again.

Khosi replied by saying the South Africans were more accommodating of the Nigerian way of living than the Nigerians are of theirs.

She's already sowing subtle seeds of discord in the minds of her countrymen/women and this is one of the reasons I said that the Nigerian housemates need to stop all the unnecessary fights and protect each other, especially that stupid Ojuelegba based, New York wannabe gangster Sandra.
grin grin Especially when she calls both male and female my niggur

Funny how you fail to mention that nigerians said they should not cook pap again.
What I have noticed is that SAns are more willing to try out the others' food, even though its not what they would normally eat. Even this morning they swapped only yam, after saying they can't be eating it everyday, for bread but ate the rest. Watch Nigerians' behavior just as closely, you will see they are not willing to bend/accomodate especially in the kitchen.

This puzzles me. People cry for BBA every year and now this? Whats the point of wanting BBA if you cannot admire people from other countries? Why not just stick to bbn?

BBA is better than BBTitans.

We asked for BBA, not BBTitans. I don't know who sent them this one.

Thanks Milady! We can definitely separate the wheat from the chaff. I find Juicy likable but not above Yemi but definitely not below Nana. Why should Ipeleng's attitude make me jettison merit for mediocrity?

So basically Ipeleng nominated the Nigerians, sadly their South African partners had to get nominated with them and saved Royals because of Tsatsi and replaced them with juiliv because if Olivia. If they call her xenophobic now, her fans will say she's being unfairly labelled
Small by small, her racism keeps coming out. This is one housemate that I don’t like yet….
Re: Big Brother Titans (BBTitans) 2023: Live Updates Thread by safarigirl(mod): 7:17pm On Jan 24, 2023
Anyway, if anyone is interested in the purpose of this thread

Juicy Jay and Miracle are talking about how Olivia is too self-centred to work as a pair.

First they said she's not contributing to their task as much as Juicy, and then they're saying she doesn't have a good relationship with other housemates and is too volatile, which doesn't bode well for her partner.

Juicy Jay is really suffering in this pairing. He is visibly exhausted by this babe and she no dey hear word.

Na because of people like ipeleng big brother did this pairing.
So na only Nigerians she go dey nominate dey go?
First nomination all Nigerians.
Second nominations all Nigerians unfortunately their SA partners had to go with them.

And what I noticed was the nominations were all her idea.
She didn't say once that we ( she and blaqboi) nominated someone because blaqboi doesn't like this person or she and blaqboi agreed to nominate this person.
The nominations were all her

I wonder who blaqboi would have liked to put up
I have a feeling Blaqboi self is happy not to contribute so he can avoid taking responsibility…

Please which achievements in Lagos? Achievement of turning Lagos to his personal property? Achievement that Fashola did?

Which achievements in Lagos? The one that he did not pay old people pension and when they went to his office to prevail on him, he came out and said, "So, you people are not dead?"

Achievement that he set OPC boys to go and kill Hausa people in Lagos? Achievement of MC Oluomo, agberos and high taxation that isn't favourable to them?

Which achievements in Lagos?

A lot of Nigerians are intellectually lazy, a lot of you refuse to read or research, you just parrot silly propaganda.

Which achievements in Lagos did Tinubu achieve? Lagos that was former capital, how did Tinubu achieve anything for a state that had already benefitted so much from being the country's capital for over 50 years?

Please, if you want to sell corn, sell the corn well. Don't come here and be regurgitating silly propaganda as if Lagos did not exist before Tinubu. Go and do research, don't be lazy.

Or better still, since you're allegedly not supporting that fellow, don't come and post his propaganda here.
You're the one intellectually lazy. Speaking of Mc Oluoma, he's Lagos nurtw chairman. Every states have their own indigenous Nurtw chairman. So what are you complaining about exactly?

Back to Tinubu, Without Tinubu, Lagos would have become a ghost town like Calabar which was also a former capital.

Let me also put to you that only Lagos island was Lagos back then which is different from Lagos state today. Other areas such as Lekki, Ikeja, Ajah etc were under the South West region under Awolowo. Ikeja development was Awolowo's brainchild for example. It was only when Lagos state was created that these other areas were carved out of South West region to join Lagos thus the Lagos state we have today hence it's dumb to say Federal govt developed Lagos because it was only Lagos island that was the capital until Lagos state was created. As a matter of fact, without Tinubu, the development of Lekki, Ajah, Eko atlantic. Magodo, banana Island etc wouldn't have happen. Tinubu spearheaded their development.

Also, without Tinubu, Lagos economy was nothing to write about until Tinubu came in and spearheaded Lagos economy to the 4th largest in Africa. Yet to add Tinubu's Lekki trade Zone to this economy.

No Governor has got Tinubu's legacies and this was Tinubu who didn't have a free reign because of Obasanjo who was always fighting against him while Tinubu was a governor. Tinubu is several leagus any governor in every facets, only a biased dishonest individual would say otherwise.

I remember Ipeleng having a convo with Juicy earlier today. She was telling him that he wasn't her target and it was sad he had to be collateral damage and the mumu boy was nodding, agreeing with her even ended up consoling her. Ipeleng is very manipulative. I hate that bish. If I were in that house, I would volunteer to beat her passive aggressive xenophobic ass and go home a legend.

Sandra brings drama, which is essentially a form of entertainment but I wish it wasn't so contrived.

There is too much hate, anguish and pain in most girls coming from 9ja. We can all agree of how toxic and terribly behaved these ladies are compared to this SA ladies. And we all know thier real age not this football age.. Nonsense.. Big brother should do and uncouple them.. No 9ja girl deserve any votes. undecided

No dey lie for here because you want to justify rubbish.

Have you seen anybody campaigning for Obi because he's Igbo? Can you now compare to those campaigning for Tinubu because he's Yoruba?

Do you know what is funny? In the history of Nigeria, it is ONLY IGBO people that can beat their chest and say they have voted for EVERY OTHER GROUP, EVEN WHEN THEIR OWN WAS ON THE BALLOT.

ONLY IGBOS. That is why this accusation of bigotry sounds very silly.

Igbo people did not even vote for Ojukwu when he contested, and once upon a time, that was the most popular Igbo man alive. But you want to come and lie here, that they are voting for Obi because he's Igbo?

You think Igbos will support an established criminal for President? You think Igbo people that were rejoicing when they beat up Ekweremadu in Germany, will support a criminal because of Presidency? The same Igbo people that did not support Ojukwu when he sought the same office?

If that is what you think, then sorry to you. You're clearly trying to justify supporting Tinubu, to soothe your conscience. Igbo people are not like other Nigerians that will support any rubbish because of brotherhood. Na the person wey your mama born be your brother, na so Igbo people dey do.

Don't mind the idiot Pomo boys, they have picked up from where Buhari threw them from.

8 years of Buhari no favour anybody, but because of 30k/month, the urchins want to further sink the nation by voting Tinubu.

They will fail. It is even better for Atiku to win, than for somebody who we are 90% sure will not have control of his government to win on a ticket that is built on division and segregation of Nigerians.
