So technically, PDP is automatically out of the governorship race?
PDP can conduct a fresh primary to replace the dead within 2weeks.

If they forward that young man that took second. PDP will win. But if PDP do their normal mago mago politics and flow with his deputy. Then they will lose..... As it stands now, Abia now has good candidates for this governorship election. Anybody that wins in the secondary election is good to go
The young man from Umuahia can't win when we have the likes of Otti and Nwafor. The deputy guba candidate(Barr Okey Igwe) stands a better chance to win the guba election.

Instead of you to field a young and energetic man for the job..
You went and chose an old retired uni Vc ..
Now he is late and the Ngwa bloc in Abia would definitely miss out on being thr governor after you ..
Same way Apc is choosing a sick Tinubu so that if it goes the other way... It would be a Northerner taking over barely after Buhari....

Provided that where it is an election into a legislative House, a fresh primary shall be conducted by the political party of the deceased candidate within 14 days of death.

Ikpeazu wanted to play God, now God has played him.
OUK from Abia North zone handed over to T.A Orji from Abia Central. T.A handed over to an Ngwa man from Abia South in the person of Ikpeazu. Ikpeazu instead of handing over to an Abia North person decided to play God. Picked a sick old Ngwa man from Abia Central while making Abia North deputy.

You no well. Orji uzor kalu handed over to old Bende man from Abia central instead of Ngwa man from Abia central, then thief a orji handed over to Ngwa man from Abia South. That means old Bende have ruled a total of 16years while okezie Ngwa man ruled 8years under control of orji family. Okezie decided to balance Abia political leadership by giving Ngwa man from Abia central in the person of the late prof. Old Bende people got angry and today he's dead, and they are happy. They are not God, the struggle of Ngwa man continues.
Now God has removed Ikpeazu's choice, it's going back to Abia North as it should.

Meanwhile I think Prof died long time ago but they were trying to hide it in order to check the legalities of replacing him with an Ngwa man

There's going to be a fresh primaries. But this one will just be nomination/selection. But anyway, I pity Abia if they vote in PDP again. Their demonic structure in that state won't allow anybody to succeed as a governor no matter how competent he is. I give this election to Alex Otti(LP)
