iPhone 11 generally doesn't have great battery life, but when I used an iPhone 11 it had better battery life than the one you're currently using. I sold it when the battery health was 89%.

If the phone battery wasn't as bad as it is now when you started using it, then it's possible that 1 or 2 bugs from the iOS 16 you upgraded to affected the phone negatively and eats up the battery faster than usual. The only solution for now would be factory resetting it to clear the bugs which would be very risky because it's a chip unlocked iPhone.
I'd have said you should change the battery, but if it's a software bug issue from the iOS 16, then changing the battery wouldn't solve the problem.

If the battery issue persists just trade the phone with extra money for a better one. This is the only permanent solution and please next time go for a factory unlocked iphone with at least 83% battery health.

That's odd. Is the battery OEM or 3rd party? Have you checked yo8r phone's screen on time for a period of 12 hours to ascertain the battery performance?

It's a new phone shipped directly from U.S. The seller isn't within my vicinity, it was shipped down here.

There's no world wide update for a new iphone 12 currently? I guess that's why the engineer suggested i use a chip.

Some guys on this thread, they said I'll have to use another chip since i removed the sim i used recently.

Its OEM battery bro, I was on iOS 13.6 and it was working fine until I wanted to download google voice , then it told me I won’t be able to download it unless I updated to the latest iOS 16.2 . That’s where my problem started o

A full ios reset might be your next solution. That screen on time you posted is way too poor for 11 Pro max.

I have reset countless times still the same issue. I even downgraded to iOS 15.7 thinking that’ll solve the problem but still the same thing . I can’t reset again o

A full factory reset? Then try reinstalling the ios using iTunes or itools.

I don't know if ios 15.7 us till being signed. If it is then you can downgrade to it but if not then it has to be ios 16.1 or 16.2.

I already downgraded from iOS 16.2 to iOS 15.7, have been on iOS 15.7 for like 2 weeks now . Battery still drains and phone still warms up

You're sure the screen and battery are original follow come? Did you change environment to a place with terrible signal?

Wahala. Your battery performance is really poor from what you said. And the constant warming is a telltale sign that something is wrong. Now whether it's software or hardware remains to be found.
