All the time, they want me to be fat. I don't know what the attraction with fatness is by Nigerians. I believe some people who body shame you secretly envy you.

Happened and still happening till now.
Some people who don’t know me always body shame me because I have a skinny small body status, one gal turned it to insult I had to give her the hardest warning she never got.
I really felt bad that day, but it is well.

I remember the year I went to process my nysc letter in sch, one stupid fresher (100L) look me finish dy ask me when our class they hold, the tin burst my head eh, I get reserve myself if not I for lay curse for em head.

Many gals (till today) dy under rate me cus of say I skinny cun get kinda pikin face. I no be fan of beard, but now I don du keep my beards, make one unfortunate being no go dy reason say I be small pikin cun dy insult em papa.

The best body physique. At 50 you go still look like 30 year old if you stay fit and eat healthy

Body shaming is not limited to the female folks alone. This a misconception most people have. Guys are also body shamed.
For me I have a pointed kind of ear and I was body shamed about it. This is so bad that up till now I don't like taking photos because of the way people has body shamed me.

We should be careful how we talk about body parts of people because it carries with it damages that takes time to heal.

aah! we have finally found the long lost descendant of the African Elf! tongue

You have pointed ears like BAT and you are here complaining instead of using it to cash in during this campaign season? ... if you join the right team you can even be poster boy..... those people are really spending on anything or anybody that can help. I know you're not going to ask me which team to be on.

I have...I have diastema (A case of mis aligned teeth)
It's so bad I can't look you at your eyes when talking to you...the most painful part is that it's so expensive to get the treatment done.. about 400k for braces.

See as you don fat, why you keep yourself like this? That's how Nigerians greet other people. Life is a winding clock. The addressed has lost weight, and the bodyshamer has gained weight now, but we stay humble, as only God knows the next moment.

It's best to be kind to people, chew your words first, and only say them if it sounds graceful, sweet and kind.

All will be well.

Work on your body and the things you eat.... you'll only feel body shamed when you actually knows there's something wrong with your body.

Ps
Unless you have a medical condition that won't allow you work out you have reason to be recklessly fat and obesed
.

Hello bro, how can one with a small body achieve this.

i think it depends on ur mindset..maybe u are feeling inferior when they say that...like me now i was very short during my secondary school days and my nickname was "small" i was never for one day sad cos of the nickname...now i m tall many of them are not calling me small again but whenever i see someone call me by that name again i m always happy cos it makes me to remember my past...just no reason am bro u will be fine if u can do that

Lol, there is this girl in my office that calls me Apari. I always look at her and smile.

She is just a few meters away from dwarfism.

She fit go hang herself if I open my mouth on her.

I've been a serial victim (if the word exists though). From having protruding ears to having a very tall and lean frame (I've been called a bean pole countless times and I've been called thin and gaunt). To crown it all, I used to stutter terribly. But the stuttering has greatly reduced now.

But in all we thank God for growth.

If Ronaldinho can be who he was with his dentition, just go and make money and forget about body shaming. People will be falling over themselves to be seen by you. No time.
