igbotormentor: Repatriation is actually good for Tinubu emergence as the president. 99.99% of inmates in Ethiopia prison are flat flatinoes and ipobians. They are those trying to move drugs from Brazil-Ethiopia-Nigeria. If they come back successful, they stay at home, drink expensive wines and show off online in big empty houses. When they are caught and their drugs seized, they join massob, ipob, ugm and esn and shout Biafra. They are the frustrated ones that lol their fellow ibos. They acquire guns and kidnap and rob fellow ibos who are more successful than them. Tinubu has nothing to fear. Atiku and Obi will be highly disappointed. 2 Likes |

deepwater: Ethiopia has only one fundamental challenge: they tenaciously hold on to their history and state religion. They are afraid of loosing their values to the Western culture. Aside that, Ethiopia is actually better than Nigeria. |

deepwater:All these illiterates flooding Nairaland. The worth of a currency is not been determined by exchange rate like you illiterates think. There are three economic indices used to determine the worth of a currency (1) PPP(purchasing power/price parity) (2) Stability (3) balance of trade. Time may not permit me to elaborate on all of the three indices ,but let me take the first one PPP is defined as Purchasing power parities (PPPs) are the rates of currency conversion that try to equalise the purchasing power of different currencies, by eliminating the differences in price levels between countries. In lay man terms, what this means is this, to build a 4 bedroom duplex in lekki area of Lagos may cost you 150m for instance, that is about $200k Now to own that same kind of house in USA in a commiserate environment like that of lekki over there, you will need over$500k-$1m . Now,to make that 150m naira in Nigeria here is far easier than making $500k to a million dollars in US. Hope you get it now That is why ,those who earn 500k naira in Nigeria will live same quality of life that someone who earns $4-5k abroad. The purchasing power parity there is what defines the quality of life that each country lives. Nigeria naira maybe worthless like most of you think, but making it is very easy compared to those other currencies in other countries. In Nigeria here, money plenty oo,you can do small thing and earn 5k,10k,20k naira easily than earning 10cedis in Ghana. The ease of making the money is what matters not exchange rate. Hope you get it now 4 Likes 2 Shares |
