Northwest Gbagada ₦185 per litre ditto Northwest at VGC and total Petrol Stations on the Island. All filling stations on Awolowo Road Ikoyi are ₦185 per litre.

If you're not a conman then name the Petrol station and area you bought at ₦500 per litre and let folks go and verify.

You're far from reality. Do you think Tinubu is daft and will not know how to assemble team that'll give him results? Tinubu is not buhari and their way of reasoning are not the same. The economy was in shamble because buhari exalted ethnicity over competence. He should have rejig his team for better performance. Finance Minister, Emefiele, Ngige, and education minister have caused more havoc to this administration than anyone else. Tinubu has tested hands that can drive the economy however him fighting corruption and stopping leakages is what I can't say about him.

This is the bitter truth. I don't understand how people equate Tinunbu to Buhari...Because they're in the same party doesn't mean they have the same team. It is cleat that Buhari is a tribalist, and he used his second term to satisfy his people...he doesn't give a F about the common man anymore, and he also has people that push his mumu button. Tinunbu is definitely not that way. Tinunbu is not a saint, but he will me miles better than Buhari.

This statement would have been valid 15yrs ago. The current tinubu is incapable of administering the affairs of the country effectively. It will just be another proxy government like the current one.

It's only nnpc that sells at government price here.
Even a major marketer here that has a very big tank farm sells at 330

N195 in the FCT at yer local station, N180 at the NNPC stations, 350-400 black market.

At the end of the day, the problem arises from government trying to set prices for petrol. Here is the thing, no government can set prices for petrol or anything at all. The cost of production will always rise beyond what subsidy can pay for. Which is what is happening now.

Since November 2022, NNPC has been bringing in fuel above N500 per liter...and you expect them to sell it at N180 or less? Or even at N87 as some GEJ fans are calling for? or N40 for some Buhari fans?

At the end, price controls never work. Once upon a time, in the eastern part of germany, one could rent a house for basically free...under government prices. And eventually the government got broke from maintaining the charade. Same thing with subsides.

Government should remove subsides from petrol, allow the market to control the price, so that domestic refining is incentivised, and then maybe bring back some form of subsidy...only this time for example, government pays part of the cost of production at the refinery...not at the pump, and in a way that money is not lost.

SO what do you want your incoming government to do?

All the main candidates have said they would remove subsidy.

If you are arguing that a Peter Obi candidate would reduce fuel to N100 per liter or N87....that means that we would be paying far more than Buhari ever paid in a year, for subsidy. And we would be in such debt that we would not be able to even import fuel or anything.

Fuel prices will always rise...whoever wins. Petrol costs money.
