grin grin some people are just delusional! Kwankwaso steps down for Atiku? Then y'all most be joking, Atiku is only overrated in the south compared to the north those drumming support for him knows he is not truly loved. Atiku has no formidable alliance up here. Kwankwaso on the other hand is aspiring to be Nigeria's president when opportunity presents itself and the best way to gain acceptance is when he steps down for a southerner which is Tinubu. He is popular in arewa and all he needs is a formidable alliance of which the south west is his best bet. He knows this, christians in arewa are mostly obedient and these were PDP supporters obi took away. The christians in adamawa mostly from Numan, Michika, Demsa and other places are mostly obedient and this greatly affects Atiku's vote. Obi will do more harm to Atiku, on the other hand y'all should not underestimate the strength of APC, that party is very strong and it's very difficult for PDP to win because PDP strongholds are being largely divided by NNpp and LP. Jagaban may not be your favorite but he is actually going to win.

I have known this a long time ago. Politicians in the North are collecting Tinubu's money while seriously campaigning for Atiku. The Jonathan treatment awaits Tinubu. They just want him to offload his Lagos loot. Even Tinubu himself is realizing that and decides to starve some of the Northerners in his PCC of funds. Those starved of funds are resigning and pitching tent with Atiku. Northerners are too politically smart to follow somebody like Tinubu. Make he Just dey play.

Well, we go see the end of all these your nonsense permutation soon, February is here

Lol this is not primary election where an aspirant can step down and all his supporters will vote one person... Many Kwankwaso supporters won't vote Atiku just to protest that decision of stepping down.

If Obi step down and endorse Atiku today, many of his supporters will still vote Tinubu.
You don't understand how northerners vote at all
They have the herd mentality when it comes to voting, their unity is the strength there

Travel around the country small, stop carrying this warped mentality of the north everywhere. If to say Na so d North be, Obi suppose to see anybody for rally na
Rather you should established your view point base on facts and not just hearsay or personal believe. It is a know fact that the north has occupied the position of power more than any other regions. Traveling around without aligning the observation with facts is nothing but a waste of transportation fare. At the bolded, it is a known fact that not only the northerners by origin live in the north. Secondly, mobilizing a crowd is part of political game only that the vote itself will finally reveal where the loyalty lies at the end, for not transactional ones of course.

The reality over here in the North is Tinubu is being sabotaged by APC, he has just Ganduje campaigning seriously for him. Atiku is meeting with Islamic clerics who are using Tinubu mistake in his recitation of the Fatiha to claim he us not a true Muslim which to me is wicked propaganda.

Mind you, most of the Islamic clerics are Fulani and their task is simply to join in putting pressure on Kwankwaso and manipulating the majority Hausa voters against Tinubu and Peter Obi by emphasising known sentiments which is why most Hausas are still illiterate till date (a clearcut policy for periods like this put in place by the Fulani elites and traditional rulers from the colonial times under the Indirect Rule program agreed with the British colonial masters.)

Even Jonathan attempts to improve access to education for Hausas through building of Almajiri schools was viciously resisted, most of those schools have been converted to other uses as we speak.

Obi and Datti are the candidates to beat for Hausa and Fulani politicians (North is divided as many minority tribes just don't want another Fulani because of the destabilisation of their communities blamed squarely on Buhari having a soft spot for Fulanis even when they engage in heinous crimes)

You're absolutely correct!
The good news is that Peter Obi and Datti understand the whole game. They're countering their moves by penetrating North and capturing votes of Christians and other ethnic groups outside Fulani and Hausa. Truth is that Hausa and Fulani muslims have always voted their own and it won't change now. While Tinubu is deceiving himself that they will vote for him, Peter Obi knows those to target and thaty why he is going to places like Kafanchan, Zaria and southern Borno instead of just focusing on the state capitals like his rivals.

Obi might end up getting more votes in the North than Tinubu. This is because, the more he gains inroads in the North, the more their feudal leaders become scared of allowing muslim votes to be divided. So they're now building a consensus around Atiku while mounting pressure on Kwankwaso to withdraw. They're also encouraging Northern governors to pay lip service to Tinubu while being indifferent so that muslim clerics will do the brainwashing on their masses. Tinubu has already realized what is happening but it has become too late for him to do anything about it.

It's now a Game of Thrones and Kwankwaso will soon drop in favour of Atiku to avoid losing out completely since his followers are fast moving over to PDP.

The election is technically narrowing down to a fight between Obi and Atiku, because even federal government has joined in ensuring that Tinubu is completely taken out. be

Also, Wike and the G5 have a vital role to play in stopping Atiku. As Atiku gains in the North, he should be pushed out of South completely. Even if he wins in the North as expected, he must not be allowed to get 25% in 5 Southern states as constitution requers.

Lastly, nobody can predict the winner of 2023 election but it's definitely going to be between Obi and Atiku.

That's another good point. The Southern politicians in PDP are useless. Wike practically threw Obi out of the way by making it very difficult for him. Now he is there shouting equity. At least, Tinubu fought for the Southern ticket and got it. But ever since, he has been making serious political blunders, from his Mu-Mu ticket to his outbursts and utterances on campaign grounds.
This will be a great lesson for the south and I want it to happen. SW media were busy painting SE black to the north so as to win the heart of the north. There is no love lost in the South. SW/ SE rivalry and mutual distrust remains the strength and gain of the north. We will continue to be at their mercy politically unless the narrative changes. Adebanjo called Okupe and talked to him in his bedroom and he stepped down for Obi. Ogbonnaya Onu recounted how he stepped down for Olu Falae in in 1998 as an APP presidential candidate during APC primaries
Anyday SW and SE unites politically northern dominance will end but greed of politicians in South will not allow that

That's the truth. South is highly divisive politically. Most Northerners would have preferred Kwankwaso. But they know he is practically off the chart, especially in the south. That's why they are queuing behind Atiku who they believe stands a better chance. We shouldn't also forget that Tambuwal stepped down for Atiku while Wike, who knows Obi will do better than him, was busy barking at him.

I have said it is the SW that should really make Obi win this thing.

Any wise, fair, reasonable, sensible, non bigoted, non tribalistic, educated, enlightened, exposed and intelligent South Westerner know that Tinubu is not a good fit for the Presidency.

If the SW overwhelmingly vote for Obi, these backstabbing treacherous Fulanis don't stand a chance.

But they will use religion to deceive some of our SW brothers and then scheme them out later on.

I told a SW that Osinbajo would have been better but even at that it was still injustice for the SW to have another go at the presidency when the east hadn't done even one. We wouldn't have minded if he (osinbajo) won because we feel he at least has capacity, competence and character.

I v known Kano state Tobe independent in their voting pattern.

But if Kwankwaso steps down, that will be the end of his political career as his followers won't take him serious again.

When are we going to mature enough in this country to put national interest above tribal, ethnic, regional and religious interest?
When are we going to focus on the qualities, character and competence of individuals?
When will the northern elites allow us to have competent and quality leadership in this country? Even with the failing state of this country, these people are only interested in the president coming from the North even if it is Atiku. With this type of stereotypy and myopic perspective, I strongly doubt if this country will ever get better.
I WEEP FOR MY COUNTRY. I FEAR FOR THE TOMORROW OF THIS NATION.
