So bad. The method CBN want to use to remove the money from the circulation is so harsh. It's like using 24hrs to remove old notes. If you still want to withdraw from the counter till today, you will certainly be given old notes.

is just a matter of time. We will all get use to it when banks stops accepting the old note as deposit. Nigeria is not the first country to change their currency note. India did it unaware. Today they are all use to it. My only problem with the change of currency is that the fakes are much outside but the ideal is good.

They went ahead with the wedding.

Though the wedding was not postponed, guardians of the girl were said to have noted that with the CBN deadline of January 31, they were not ready to buy some things needed for the ceremony and that they did not have a bank account to deposit the money, hence their demand for the new notes.

I think on Friday, I would sacrifice two hours to sit in the bank (depositing old note).
No way am I nearing any bank next week.
Today when I entered bank, there is no line. It is just madness and all of them are willing to sleep there at the bank.
