What does your questions have to do with the bolded

How is the policy a good government policy?

What has atiku said that is feasible and practicable?

When did buhari and emefiele who have been oppressing nigerians since 2015 automatically begin to care about the welfare of Nigerians?

It's really affecting businesses. It shows you are not abreast with the happenings. It's not about getting a pos.
SmartPolician:

What kind of business do you do?

Every business owner should get a POS and accept digital payments.

That's the essence of cashless policy, not to punish looters grin

Cashless policy wont work in 9ja,sweden & denmark are the two country that have successfully implemented the policy in their country with population less than lagos state, now imagine 9ja with 90m people dont have access to internet. today i withdrew 20k and paid 2k charges. This ish should be extended, the massess are suffering, their tactic will and never stop corruption and vote buying, the politician will always device means. I came to this world to meet both old and new currency as a legal tender until u wake up the next day you wont find the old currency simply because CBN gradually collected the old currency. To my opinion the CBN didn't consider the masses, they are just playing politics.
I remember telling someone here that it's going to lead to a cost push inflation, he dey tell me sey I no Sabi economics.
I had to stop giving out more than 5k for POS transaction as people are hungry.
A colleague of mine is charging 500 on 5k which I felt it's not too cool.
I even felt bad charging 300 on 5k.
People don't have cash and they need to feed.

Is it not in the common man's interest that vote buying, terrorism financing and inflation is stopped?
Besides, I thought Atiku uses money to buy elections. How come this time around he's against vote buying?

The last Naira redesign policy was completely hitchfree! People welcomed it with surprise and excitement. I remembered the evening when my sister-in-law who was a banker showed me the new notes? I was looked at it with glee

Here's another redesign and it's a fiasco. It simply displays best practices were not put in place

Was it right to use the Naira redesign policy to frustrate politicians? Is the window of time given to swap the old to new sufficient based on best practices sufficient? I can tell you no.

If the National Assembly hadn't requested he appeared before it, most people would have been clueless that a lot of what he was doing was not in compliance with the CBN Act of 2007.

Today, the anger from customers at the Oba Akran GTB branch directed to the bank staff for their inability to withdraw money was unparalleled. I have never seen anything like it Such behavior was the type directed at petrol station attendants during fuel scarcity. Their anger and frustration was palpable.

They were justifiably angry but their anger should be directed at the CBN governor and not the bank staff.

You talk like a dumb person, so if i want to pay conductor inside danfo bus, i should use POS? if i want to buy pepper from market women in Awka i should use POS?

You should use the same means you apply negative energy to manipulate systems to get over this. It's time to think out of the box.

You still don't get the bigger picture then. The whole point of all this is the fact that while clean persons may do it this way, a corrupt person will not want to deposit money in the bank at all because it creates a money trail.

Even if you do, once you send a large enough transfer to a bdc person, the EFCC and DSS will have enough reasons to hold you.

It seems you are not aligned with the street.
I used a pos at petrol station 2 days ago it was declined, I was delayed looking for cash for over 3 hours. Meanwhile, my 12000 naira is still hanging in the bank, where I was told I'll wait for 6 working days for the reversal.

Sentiment apart, the banks are not really ready for cashless policy as lack the capacity for volume transactions. There will be a lot of issues that may degenerate to violence on the part of bank customers.

Atiku was just playing to the gallery, he knows he is not going to be affected.

You that are happy about this untimely policy of CBN are wicked soul. So many people businesses are grounded for now, some staffs are no longer going to their place of work because conductors don't have pos.

The politicians that you thought you are stopping are already with the cash you are scampering for and are still going to buy you as usual on the election day with new notes.

Is the naira redesign policy a good idea? Yes!!
Every other thing is wailing!! The best time to implement a good idea is yesterday. The next best time is now.
There's nothing he's doing that's not in compliance with CBN Act. According to the act actually, redesign is supposed to happen every five years.
Redesign is a fiasco now because of desperate politicians who are inciting people against the govt.
During the BVN and NIN reg, there was also long queues and last minute rush but I never heard pim from any politician against both moves.
So why is this particular one paining them so much
