9jahotblog:
THE IGNORANCE OF THE WORKINGS OF BVAS IN OUR ELECTION AS RELATED TO RESULTS TRANSMISSION TO INEC SERVER AND THE REPORTAGE BY THE SERVER.

1. Inec put maximum of 500 to 750 registered voters per polling unit, thus the BVAS were programmed like that.

2. However, there are several polling units with over 1200 registered voters.

3. In such polling units as in (2) above will use minimum of two BVAS on election day for the purpose of election in the affected polling units.

4. At the end of the election, the votes are counted together regardless of the number of BVAS used for the election. The results are then filled into INEC form EC8A and same is then sent to INEC server via the BVAS. This is where the challenge is, remember each BVAS machine does *NOT* contain total number of accredited voters, infact, each BVAS will make the result "seemly" over voting until all the BVAS(s) used in such polling units *SYNCHRONISED*

5. In this context synchronisation means that all data on each of the BVAS machine has been processed together in the server such that all the data added up to form a single data. However, this takes time and depends on many factors such as data size, network of service provider, memory of server and processor, internal working of various diodes, resistors etc.

6. Practical examples of (5) above is when salaries of say police is made through a bank, it is programmed as a single schedule in the bank and paid by the push of a single button "pay" or "approved" but in reality the police officers will get their payment alert at different times across days sometimes weeks. If anyone print the statement of account of the while payment is ongoing the person will have different statements until the payment is completed, that's when system has completed synchronisation.
Another example is that we get many alert balance of account that is incorrect, infact sometimes the gives two different balance in a single text message -
i. Current bal. X
ii. Available bal. Y

7. This was what happened in the case under review, the APC fraudulently got a report from the server while synchronisation is ongoing while the PDP got another report from the same server after more data has synchronised.

8. The above explanation is not known to many people and that may include the judges of the tribunal and future judges at the appeal court and supreme court. *THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE*

9. We need to make this known to the entire public through public advocacy using NGOs NOT LAWYERS. Infact we need to stage INEC ICT Director in an interactive discussion in disguised voter education programme organised by our NGO people.

10. This must be done in national TVs such everybody including would be judges would have understood the whole idea before the appellate courts judgement.
Which BVAS data did INEC rely on in declaring the winner of the election; Synchronized or unsynchronized?

All this is story. Bypass how and when?

So INEC announced results without checking all necessary details even with BVAS?

modified:
I thought it was an official statement. This is a personal opinion and beer parlour gist. Name the officials involved in such.

Note u cannot bypass BVAS withoutINEC knowing immediately to dectect and have elections redone. it is impossible.
What is this one saying? He said people were allowed to vote on ballot papers without being accredited by BVAS? How would he know all the officials involved in more than 500 polling units? Many of them were even adhoc staffs.

. When it was posted last night on nairaland one rabid dog who calls himself a political analyst was ranting and started abusing us describing the story as fake! Is it fake now? Is it not all over the news? I believe INEC will not appeal the judgement of the majority judges in Osun TB.It is clear PDP used many of the INEC staff in Ede and other PDP strongholds to outsmart Oyetola In the election. INEC no doubt made Osun people's votes invalid in the election.

How can u say that and INEC officially said no over voting after checking BVAS and announced a winner?

Whe need to stop this hallucinations.

If there was indeed any overvoting INEC will detect it using BVAS immediately redo the elections b4 announcing a winner.

are u telling inec does not confirm results using BVAS?

The people of Southwest are very smart, brilliant, educated, enlightened and are the most likely to challenge a system. If this had happened elsewhere, the overvoting will probably go undetected and unchallenged.
APC would have challenge the outcome of the Anambra Election, but thr APC candidate got disqualified

The 2022 Electoral law recommends cancellation and the failure of INEC to cancel it violated the electoral law. Outright cancellation was in the law to act as strong deterrrent to rigging by overvoting by politicians in their strong political bases.
It was either a fatal flaw by the lawyers of Mr Nurudeen Jackson not to do a cross appeal and investigate the results of areas where APC got its highest votes or his lawyers found out that Oyetola's votes were clean and matched BVAS.
Go cancel am nau, as you sabi law pass those judges

If the result was tie after the deducted result, there would have been a rerun at the cancelled unit

But after some polling units were cancelled and the result was declared, Oyetola defeated Adeleke, so why should there be a rerun in an election Oyetola clearly won?
APC only fucused in the polling units where the over voting favours APC, I believe that PDP will go into action for all the polling units to be reviewed.

Are you a dunce? Did you follow the election and the subsequent Tribunal proceedings? Did APC agents not protest when the results were being collated? Did the returning officer listen to them?

You talk as if the returning officer was an INEC official. At the Tribunal, INEC publicly admitted there was over-voting in some polling units. What they argued was that the over-voting wasnt substantial enough to have affected the outcome of the election.

In fact, PDP lawyer Ikpeazu disowned INEC BVAS report at a stage in the proceedings.

Thanks for your write-up, very explanatory and educative. The Tribunal wants to steal the mandate of the Osun people.

Protests are common in all elections especially b4 BVAS. Pdp agents Protested also in the 1st elections where oyetola did magic in the rerun and nothing was achieved in the tribunal despite facts on ground.

Now with BVAS when it is easy to detect u are telling me INEC announced results without confirming with BVAS?

pls have sense.

Digital numerical data are not streaming videos. How much time do you think a server will take to process/synchronize data from BVAS? Seconds! What has various diodes, resistors, etc got to do with this?
