See if i want to be sincere and honest, these politicians and governors want the extension because of their evil agenda to do massive vote buying. See the idea makes sense because limiting the supply of cash will assist in combating money laundering effectively by limiting the amount of raw cash that people can carry around and then work with payment service providers like the PSBs and MNOs to rapidly push agency banking gradually phase out the use of POS in rural areas and use more of USSD banking with enhanced security features to encourage purchases between market people using USSD. This is similar to what Safaricom did in Kenya with MPesa.

The CBN mopped up 2trillion of old currency yet printed only 300bn new currency. That's a little over 10% of what's supposed to be in circulation. Can't you see that the CBN is faulty here with so much ineptitude.
