Can you imagine? Why would a governor refuse to complete a building that could be bringing ₦500b monthly revenue to his state?? Adeleke should pump entire of this year's budget to complete it.
500 billion revenue?

Very disheartening that Osun is portrayed in FCT as a State with an epileptic economy right in CBD. DAMN! I pray and hope the sitting Governor completes the project.

Bros, even Niger state Governor would not like to go and renovate and invest in that building at Zuma rock because the building, as was told, has been infested with evil spirits and demons causing mysterious happenings. The demons have claimed ownership of the structure. The building initially was meant to serve as tourist destination but because of the mysterious circumstances happening within and around the building,it has to be abandoned for good.Imagine you go lodging with your partner and after going to bed in your pyjamas and night gown, only for both of you to wake up on the roadside stack naked surrounded by ugly dwarf creatures clapping and dancing around you. This is just one instance. Will you go there again?

stop believing rubbish stories...

its the indigenes and traditional leaders in that area that didn't allow the business there to thrive because they wanted money so they sabotaged the business.. If the indigenes and traditional leaders had allowed that business to thrive other businesses would have been created in the area and would have created a positive impact on the economic and social welfare in the area.

that place is supposed to be booming with tourists.. but people with mentality like yours are the reason for its under-development..

Investment ko, reinvestment ni. Instead of selling it off as scrap. In today's Nigeria, government should not spend scarce resources on real estate which is highly capital intensive with ultra long term return in investment thoughtless of profit and which does not create sustainable jobs.

It is clear that as shown by other governments at all levels, contractors have a firm grip on our democracy. And that our collective future is tied to their interests.

For how can a governor who's feet has barely touched the ground be angling and hunting for humongous white elephants instead of thinking of how he can improve the economy of the state and begin to create sustainable prosperity by job creation through the right kind of investments and programs.

If Osun had the resources in the good times of the past to embark on such adventures, Nigeria has become a different place and the citizens should be demanding for prudence and fidelity in government spending.

If sentiment towards that building must be held then it can concession it to private developers. Nigerians must insist on the end to the retrogressive, dangerous and wanton poverty the culture of contracting has brought to Nigeria for over 50 years.

Calm down, that amount is not possible in a month, though it's laudable if Mr governor can complete it.

Develop it and rent it at a very expensive rent to banks, financial institutions, corporate organizations etc where they will be paying rents to the government coffers in tens of millions every year. That's what abia government does with abia house

That’s not what he asked you..

He already knows this part you explained.. he wants to know how it would benefit the common man in the state.. Obviously, all the revenue would go into the government account which is under the governor’s control and by no means public funds..
