Nigerian on-air personality, Daddy Freeze has said that the Scriptures tell christians to eat their tithes, IGBERETV reports.

Taking to his Instagram handle, the media personality who had always described paying of tithes to pastors as unbiblical wrote;

"The scriptures say eat your tithe [Deut. 14:22-27. So If you no chop your tithe, your pastor go chop am for you..

[27] And do not neglect the Levites in your town, for they will receive no allotment of land among you."

For me, those who take the tithing matter too far, either ways, were walking in error.

Both those who threaten people with death because of tithing, or those who would go to extreme length to discourage people from tithing are both wrong.

Jesus didn't do or encourage any of both.

What is the sense in setting aside one tenth, and still eat it? Don't let this man twist the bible because of his envy for some men of God, the bible is very clear on tithe, is either you tithe or you don't. God does not need your money, but His priests need to be taken care of, your tithe should be the minimum, you still have 90% to yourselve, and let God be the judge and not mortal men.

In the old testament different generations
of peoplee observe tithing with different methods.

Tithing shouldn't be any big deal. If it were that important Jesus and apostle Paul would have given instructions on it. Both taught numerous topics bothering on family life, Christian life, government etc but almost nothing on tithing

I would love to have a no "holds-barred "sit-down spiritual convo with this guy.
I checked out his You Tube channel --either 2021 or 2022--a few times and got half-way through some of his videos.
I don't undestand the meaning of his name, but I found out he has a church group or so.
His personality seems very personable, charming and lively.
He appears to be approachable---and intelligent.

BUT...the Godly wisdom...the spiritual discernment....the Godly understanding...the Holy Spirit.....?
