I watched them all. Including X men, scooby doo, Simpsons among others

I am feeling nostalgic. I spent my childhood in compound. A compound with many children and enough space to play. I remember those days when our moms would go for a function and tell us not to do rough play. We would do ice and water, police and theif with our paper guns, mommy and daddy -we would take garri from the kitchen , gather little sticks, make fire and washed some deposed milk cans to make eba.
Sometimes, during the day if there was light, we would watched all these Yoruba dubbed Chinese movies.
Night was the best. especially Saturday night, the elderly people would be there to tell us tales and answer our questions. Everybody loved one another.

The first one is something I'm thinking of doing again someday with my OG, it's in my bucket list. I miss my childhood. Sometimes, I hate that I grew up because of the responsibilities that comes with grown ups. At that age, na just to dey play my football dey go from one corner and one house to another. The day I won the championship, even my parents celebrated it.

I am a legend of the game (Number 1 pix). I believe i invented or perfected the art of scoring from direct corners.
There were levels to this game. They were those that used the 'rollers of cassettes as the ball, some of us used paper from sprint chewing gum (squeezed it), some just squeezed any paper, but to us the maestroes, ball quality differed. Some even mixed some amount of chewing gum to the round paper ball.
some particular corks were good for different positions, eg Dumez malt and pepsi were my excellent goal keepers
Then when it came to goalpost design.
: some used Saint louis packet with triangular cross-sections; that could withstand the impact of those plastic rollers,
some of us, built paper goal post with the art of origami
There were diferrent rules: eg No bruising
For some of us, our players wore sleeves made of paper with numbers of players from sports magazine for USA 94.
Then when it came to the trophy, it was a craft
some of us used teh foil from st moritz ciggarrete packet to make world cup.
Wow, its good to know and learn that irrespective of location and no social media to spread the different developments , that we all engaged in tournaments, going from house to house, in classrooms etc.

How time flies .

Table soccer, from 1991 to 1995 ehehee. Days of Giovani elber, cafu. We have different venues as stadium. We also do nations cup and world Cup tournaments. We make sure we have 18 of 20 or more different brands of Corks. And we gave them strictly country names. Club football wasn't very out there like early 2000. And we kept bringing innovation in every time ehehehe. It was an interesting days.
