What kind of nonsense is that from a whole court of law.

More banks needs to be burnt
How will burning banks solve the problem? Burn banks and they shut down. Maybe it is cbn people will go make withdrawal.

You need to reset your head. That's not how to reason.
DSS will visit you. grin grin

NB: The CBN is and independent body and the Apex bank, same way the Supreme court is supposed to be independent and the Apex court.

The Apex court should have waited and heard the matter from both parties before making an order at all.
The Apex court needed not to make that weighty order before hearing from CBN, to complicated it further, the jurisdiction of the Apex court to hear the very matter as the court of original jurisdiction has been challenged by the federal government law officers.

So, it's not just simple

This is why Emefiele should be charged for manslaughter.... Transfer is not even working these days. So many reversals of sent money. No new or even old cash.. the few old cash is now being rejected.

Emefiele and Buhari needs to pay a huge price by going to jail for all those people who died due to this unnecessary cash withdrawal by his stupid cashless policy ..

Lol... Even the courts know that the Supreme court gave a kangaroo judgment in the first place.

The SC never had the jurisdiction to entertain that case in the first place. We will find out tomorrow.

All criminal politicians and kidnappers must suffer losses.

Emefiele should quickly pump in new notes in circulation. Especially , of lower denominations. The police should also move in to arrest the court staffs as they were arresting business owners

The money is circulating... We now have enough physical transactional amount in circulation.

Buses and businesses in the East have learnt to accept transfers.

Please start getting use to it.
The extension of dates, adds more pressure on the masses and we would keep talking about what we should have outlived.

Those Politicians against it are not fighting a true course.
You Believe them when they say they speak for you... You are of all men, most miserable, if you do!

Of course the Supreme Court is taking note and petitioners lawyers in this case, is also taking note of compliance. The court will descend on CBN and Federal Government once it's proven that they didn't implement the Supreme Courts directive.

The supreme court has lost its integrity and honour with the cash and carry kind of judgements it has been issuing out recently.

Only in Nigeria that courts don't even obey court order
This is not true, CBN was not join as a respondent on the suit filed by the Governors so the ruling wasn't binding on them. They have every right to stick with their earlier policy. The courts knowing the technicalities had to obey instructions from their banks, I only pity Nigerians that will be caught in the power play, I hope none of the stubborn people that didn't pay in their old notes have the old notes as their "last card" because e go ugly for the person.

The Supreme Court brought the ridicule upon themselves.
sagitariusbaby:
The various judgements coming from the Supreme Court in recent time has been nothing but sham, how else do you explain the recent cash and carry judgements emanating from there?

People that didn't participate in an election are being declared winner by these corrupt judges and you expect anyone to take their judgement seriously?

Same court Flouting it's own ruling. It's a pity. Seems there is no synergy between the upper and the lower courts.
The CBN and banks were not join as respondent so they are not bind by the ruling, they continued with the policy and high court knowing the technicalities had to obey the banks instruction

Those people commenting above are doing so for commenting sake because the courts clearly stated that banks refused to accept the ones they collected,so how is it their fault? The fault is squarely that of APC who do not know how to implement their own policy, the said daily withdraw limit is #20,000 for individuals, then why are we not been able to withdraw it? It pains me that some people are still campaigning for them

This is what people backing the Supreme court fail to understand, reason the courts are rejecting the old naira notes as well. How can a tractor driver claim to be a pilot? Only in Nigeria.

I’ve not seen your comments here.

You guys were running your mouth on my thread when I said Nigerians have started rejecting old notes and that even banks are closed because they don’t want to accept old notes.

Now, High Courts in your lord and saviour’s backyard at Osborne is rejecting old notes too.

I’m sure Sanwolu will be sending detachment of RRS to go and close the courts like Ganduje closed supermarkets in Kano, right?

I’m happy that Supreme Court can now see that even court is disobeying their idiotic order.
