A Democrat, Donna Baringer, said police in her district asked for the change to stop “14-year-olds walking down the middle of the street in the city of St Louis carrying AR-15s”.

“Now they have been emboldened, and they are walking around with them,” Baringer said. “Until they actually brandish them, and brandish them with intent, our police officers’ hands are handcuffed.”

And this is happening less than a month after news of a Virginia six-year-old shooting their teacher and a viral surveillance video from Indiana that captured a diaper-wearing toddler carrying a handgun and firing it. Lol.

It's just tribal mentality. Teens in rural Missouri use their guns to hunt and to protect their farmlands from pests and predators but city-centre people can't seem to understand that their culture and lifestyle make guns a useful tool for them. It's how they've always been and these leftists suddenly want to get up in arms about it.

I worked fields for several years and lived in rural north Dakota. My friends that hunt during the hunting season NEVER have their kids go hunting unsupervised. They have very strict rules even up to the clothes you wear. I am resuming work. I am done on this topic.

But Romney was also the Governor of MA, one of the more liberal states, and the inventor or ObamaCare. I do think he would have been a competent President. But, Biden isn't reflexively liberal as well.

I don't know. The laws never came up for discussion. It was just common sense not to let kids whether hunting or whether they live in urban cities have guns unsupervised.
